2 Thousand years ago, when Gladiators struggled for life, at this exact location .... all those spectators wanted blood. The ghosts of the past now see and feel real life from the sounds of the God called Gilmour ! This channel gives us life, thank you for posting this gem

Hello Denis, I passed 73 and still kicking. When I was three yrs younger as you are now, I discovered Pink Floyd. My first record was DSOTM. And if you feel crying a bit more, that’s the record you should listen especially “ Time” and if you reach my age, you would know why..but I’m agreeing with you about David. The man with the feel and soul and of course with a huge hearth. And you my young friend choose the right way, to reach my age. Pink Floyd will live forever, but you must be careful when listening, to it. Don’t take any drug during listening, even if life turn a little bitter stick to the music. If you have music in your heart, you have a friend for life.

Where were you when I was burned and broken? While the days slipped by from my window watching And where were you when I was hurt and I was helpless? 'Cause the things you say and the things you do surround me While you were hanging yourself on someone else's words Dying to believe in what you heard I was staring straight into the shining sun Lost in thought and lost in time While the seeds of life and the seeds of change were planted Outside, the rain fell dark and slow While I pondered on this dangerous but irresistible pastime I took a heavenly ride through our silence I knew the moment had arrived For killing the past and coming back to life I took a heavenly ride through our silence I knew the waiting had begun And headed straight into the shining sun

The first time I heard Pink Floyd was in 2003. A sophomore in college, a neighbor used to play this song regularly on his computer, and that too loudly. I was normally quite against his behavior but with this song, I used to wait for it quite excitedly. One day, I just had to ask what song was this and that changed my life. As I got entrenched into their discography, it seemed like I had entered into a magical kingdom - I don't think I have exited yet and I am thankful for it. I even managed to catch them live at Live 8 two years later - a precious moment for me.

It is now in the hands of some rich guy who bought it at auction. I was hoping Gilmour would do an essay give away for the few guitars which he used the most- like this one...so some kid dreamer could have a chance to win one; those who couldn’t afford the thousands upon thousands of dollars to buy one. Sorta sucked.
