Im 42 or 43 and my son is 24, and my son said, hey dad check out this song. He was showing me like i didnt know about the song. And then i started to tear up that my son discovered these songs. And i had to tell em, son, papah (my dad) grew up to these songs, and then i did, and now u are. And then he choked up when he realized the whole aspect of what just happened and what i had just told him.

Such a shame that David has chosen not to make this tour completely nationwide, with only a handful of British dates and all in London it's depriving his fans of this amazing talent to be appreciated in places like Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield and countless more venues where he could play, it's really a shame, there is a lot of fans who would give there right arm to watch the Legend in concert but can't afford the journey and ticket and hotel in London. David Gilmour please could you make it possible for me, Manchester or Liverpool would suit me!! David Gilmour you are a Legend and an all round nice man, thanks for the 40 year's I've listened to you! I did see you in London at Earls Court in 94 with the Division Bell tour and it was amazing.

As great as he is, I couldn’t believe how much the tickets were…I’m going to see Aussie pink Floyd in November ar the royal Albert hall..thier tickets are less than half of David’s.and close your eyes and I dare you tell the difference

Yep, fair enough, you'd hope the tickets would indeed be more affordable; however I have to take issue with your equating of Aussie Floyd with the real thing, I've seen both twice and yes, there is a genuine difference but this does not take away what a good show Aussie Floyd provide, no issue there.

The actual difference is being in the same room with the man that actually created the tune from nothing but his own mind and being in the same room with some people that copy playing it. It may be more pleasant to hear it as close to the original but for me it’s a deeper emotional experience to share the moment with him in spite of his diminished abilities.
