This guy isn’t balanced. In life you most of us draw from being within a group a marriage a family. His voice and intensity are not healthy for Corning relationships. He is studied and observed by certain men that think this is the epitome of manhood “stay hard”. Whiles I get it a lot of it I don’t! Switching off having a laugh chilling out coming home playing with your kids seeing your wife is what most balance humans are about. This man talks all of this but is selling a product hence the podcasts selling his new book. However he doesn’t have a chick or treat to call his own. No children no family no wife. I don’t consider this out purpose on this earth indeed don’t find it healthy at all!

Romans 8:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

When I first heard David's story on rogan it hit me hard. I got obsessed with running.. Never as far as him, but I had a 400 mile month once, and one 50 mile run and I'm very proud of that. Turns out running was my cure to anxiety, and was the catalyst that got me sober and now a very active father. There's a lot of hurt in the world, and there can be, nobility in choosing and accepting it.

This one made me cry on the spot, i have so much resentment for myself for wasting 7 years of my life after i quit school because of how bad it was for me, only to end up doing nothing other than sitting in front of a pc and playing games and doing fuck all. Thankfully after 7 years i feel like i am finally going the right way(started therapy recently), the way i shouldve went many years ago but somehow couldnt because of many conscious and unconscious factors. David is a pure and an original being, his mentality is on a complete other level, i am very thankful to him for being the way he is because he already helped me a lot and will definitely continue to do so.

@@palek555 Damn man I wasted around the same amount of years doing jack sht. Felt absolutely horrible by the end of those years, especially when I compared myself to my friends who had gotten their life together during those precious years I wasted. That year where all my regrets, procrastinations.. finally came crashing down on me was the worst. I felt suffocated and had cornered myself so badly that it could've been the end. Fortunately around that exact time I came across people like Jordan Peterson, Jocko Wilink and Goggins. Their words and the example they hold themselves to, it saved me. I never met them or know how they really are as people in private, but I'll forever be grateful to them. Since then, these last 3 years I've been on a life resetting journey. Initially all I did was listen to them for hours daily. Trying to change- learn good habits, get rid of the useless ones. Failed miserably for months. But around a year, a few habits started to stick. Once that happened, it started to snowball from there. Never looked back! Man I hope your journey is going great too. I don't know you at all but I truly, sincerely hope you're still on that uphill path. The road never gets easy but it's a relief to know that I'm not the only one. That there's somone out there who's also struggling but is on it. Never giving up.

"They are suffering because they are thinking where they could've been. I am exactly where I should've been".. Man, this hit me hard, deep in my soul. I have to get up, stop feeling sorry for myself, stop thinking about what I couldn't do in the past and just think about the future. What I can do now is what matters. Every second you're alive, you have a chance. Take it or leave it. But if you leave it, you'll have the same regret everyone has, what if....

As a 30yr old single mother that grow up with a single mother, I find Davids advice moving. This man has given me the strength to face my own darkness. I’m truly grateful you choose to over come your adversaries and set that grown work for others. Truly knowing yourself and overcoming those battles within yourself will give you peace. I can’t put into words how grateful I am for your work. Thank you 🙏🏽 ❤

I feel there is so much potential in me but because it such a chaos in my mind my discipline is not consistent and low. I was figuring this out lately and now David just says it. That why his mind is so razor sharp. I want that as well and I need to get to work ffs.

David Goggins saved my life . I got tired of seeing evil everyday, bullies (grown adults). Im no punk , I’m respected but people test me everyday, ones who don’t know me and judge ,I’m currently in the military. You get tired of doing right, pleasing others all day that you forget about yourself and your family because you assume they are ok . Everyone is in a different boat , but Thank You Goggins, you saved my life honestly . I owe you .

I think about all the suffering that David Goggins went thru as a kid and then as an adult through his physical training. I know it was awful for him but he did an amazing thing. He gave all that suffering a purpose by opening himself up to the world and sharing the transformation he went through. To take such an awful thing and turn it into great purpose is tremendous and shows the true strength of character he has. Thank you David Goggins for not falling permanently into a victim mindset but instead modeling for all of us what it means to be a true warrior and a champion. Thank you!

Goggins has helped build my new mind. My medical situation gives me all the excuses I need to just sit in an ergonomic chair and just wait to be fixed by Health Care. I soon knew, no one was coming to save me. I would have to dig deep "embrace the suck" and just master my life. I am now working harder than I did when I once felt normal back when I was 19 years old. All of this is done in pain, with body limitations and other obstacles. Thank you for your inspiration.

I admire how vulnerable these guys are, digging deep to understand how they felt in the past, freely sharing their emotions, and realizing how and what they were feeling at a certain time, but they would never know nor have a conversation about it if it wasnt for self realization, self growth, and discipline. "there are more interesting conversations about life and how to live it the right way when two people can be in honest and vulnerable but accepting dialogue"

Great Interview!!! You are the first person to get David Goggins, to mention he has a child. Out of all the podcasts and Interviews he's never went into that, even in his his book he never went in about it. I've been trying to hear his insight on fatherhood, and more about that situation. You got him to talk a little about it, and with the little he gave, spoke a thousand words to me. Thank you for such a great interview, which I have to watch again for any missed jewels.

I've stuttered my whole life, and I've been avoiding it for as long as I can remember. Recently, I just tried to face it. I used to avoid phone calls and shit. I just went for job interviews, and I even stuttered while being interviewed, but I don't care anymore 'cause I can't let it ruin my life any further. I started to take phone calls. Sometimes, I still stutter over my name and still manage to push through it. I started to do the work, like reading out loud every day. I'm not sure how long it's gonna take, but I'll keep going as one of the murakami's quotes: We can't sit and stare at our wounds forever. And this video really hit me.

I find Goggins very relatable. The experiences he has gone through are so similar to me, though it was a lesser degree that I went through it. The last 5 years has been me trying to fight for what I want for a change. I have failed at almost everything, BUT I am in a better place now than I was 5 years ago. Mentally, physically and emotionally. It is great to be able to look back at myself 5 years ago and smile at the progress that I have made. It does build a shit ton of confidence to know, that all these failures have built me to be stronger, and better at attempting for the win. I may have failed at most little things, but the bigger picture is, I'm winning.

I've been watching Goggins compilations before coming here, with various quotes, including some from this conversation. It struck me that when I first heard him saying: "you have to go back to the mental lab", and not wallow in success, I received the message as though he were addressing me, the audience. But here, with context, I saw that he was talking to himself. And then it hit me: his self-conversation is the same as his outward message. When he talks about 'you', he addresses his audience and himself simultaneously and in equal measure. I think Goggins understands this, and it is what makes his message so powerful. It requires very little translation from one person's situation to another. You will always have to deal with you.
