David Goggins is a true inspiration, not like these movie stars or musicians , im pretty smart ive made successful businesses, I have it in my mind already to be like this, but I always come back to listen to David Goggins talk about this stuff atleast once a week and it triggered me to go even harder then before and work on things I avoided before ,

The thing is though everyone hs their own path. Some musicians and movie stars grew up homeless or lived in a car with their parent(s). Eventually they made it to stardom through training and getting out of their comfort zone just like goggins. Just because they don’t film every second of it or make inspiration videos about it doesn’t mean they got everything handed to them

His speeches give me goose bumps, and motivation. I have dyslexia learning is hard. I'm going to college to get a GCSE in Maths and English, because I didn't do well when I was younger, now I'm going to be 48 and trying again, because I want to work in IT, I can dream and try. 😊

Don't tell anyone what you are planning to do, even if you want to, just go and do it and get on with your life. People are either jelous and want to hold you back, or negative saying you can't do it. When I was small a Doctor in a university said I would never read or write. How does he know. I just tried and I can read and write. Don't listen to people, only you know yourself and what you are capable of. You just need determination and perseverance. Nobody has the right to put YOU down, and make you feel like a looser. We are all different.

David you don't give yourself enough credit you're one of the most intelligent people that I've ever had the pleasure to hear speak and thanks for the story about the master sergeant David Goggins PhD in the study of life

He speaks of most humans only living at 40% of their capacity. I strive to dig deeper and tap into the other 60% of my potential. He came from nothing and fought every day of his life to be his absolute best. Noone out there has done life his way...embracing the pain and self pity, facing your demons on embracing them to use them as fuel. A different approach but some of us need exactly that kind of approach. From being that rat exterminator with Eco Labs to SEAL Team 5 and every step at Badwater...he is truly an inspiration!

very true about humility. the bible teaches that being thankful is the best way to combat chronic complaining- you physically cannot complain and be genuinely thankful in the same moment without one overriding the other .

I know the notebook on the dining room table. I know the rewriting of my says notes because I had poor handwriting and by rewriting them neatly I would later find studying for a test easier. I only found out at 44 I had ADHD. I get stoked to move on when I hear this guy's experiences. 🙌
