Friggin love Grisman. This is way beyond bluegrass. A hole in time and space is made for this time and music. It has become jazz.

oldfolky: As another old folky whose music has become more eclectic as time pass, you are out of your mind. Dave is a genius.

Typical midwestern audience. After the bass solo, regular people would have been on their feet screaming. But no-o-o, not those midwesterners. They'll sit there for three hours silent, then when you're packing up and deciding never to play again, they start coming up and telling you how much they loved the music. I'm sure they did that here too. If anybody thinks Garrison Keillor is making that stuff up, they haven't spent any time in the midwest. Gotta love those midwesterners!

Nothing much worse than a shitty armature bluegrass band trying to pull this song off. I'd rather wait in a dentist office to have to have a tooth pulled than listen to something like that.. However, but these guys are great and they tear it up! :-)
