She says that the pitch was so high and that she only sang the word titanium once in the studio and that it was used throughout the whole song. In the wango tango performance she actually goes a couple of keys lower because it's so high. Same thing with chandelier .

the chorus is played very loudly but you can still hear her sing along: she doesn't completely playback or anything. she twittered that she couldn't reach the high note as she did when recorded, and so that's probably why they decided to play the chorus so that, if something goes wrong, she still has backup. i think :)
