I got the feeling he lived well though. Good food, fine wine. I loved the film “Blow up”. That was filmed in south London. He always had the air of a man who was well traveled and well read. I’m sure he enjoyed life. I hope so, anyway.

I think for many people , they don’t need to adorn graves . My dad was cremated and ashes buried in a friends wood , with an English oak planted on top and his cat is nearby also . But I don’t keep visiting . He’s in my heart always .

Always respectful Paul, great video. Hemming’s was one of thee faces of the 60’s, an icon and on the same level as; Moore, Stamp, Finney, Caine and Connery, most definitely part of that very special ‘60’s’ era. He was also a very talented actor and director, may David R.I.P. 🙏 🇬🇧

One of my most favourite films he was in is “Last Orders” very very good cast, Ray Winston, Bob Hoskins, Tom Courtney, Helen mirren, Michael Caine Really nice story, and a big part of it filmed in my home town where many people got to see the filming Well worth a watch given the subject matter 👍🏻

I used to love watching The A Team and Air wolf when i was younger, such a shame he passed the age he was a great British actor. It is sad to see his grave is now unattended

Yes, that's a really good film! Of the Argento films I've seen, Deep Red is far and away the best. However, Hemmings didn't think much of it. I don't think Hemmings had very good taste and that maybe why he made poor career choices.

He was a huge star and a household name in the 60’s.He seemed to live a very glamorous life.I didn’t know he was a director as well.A close neighbour who lived opposite was an extra in ‘Blow Up’. She would have been about 18.I wish I had asked her more about it. A lovely rural resting place for this very distinguished actor.

I absolutely loved his film 'Blow Up.' Not 'Blown Up.' 😊I have seen it many times, such a clever film. I always felt sorely tempted to offer to trim his eyebrows but I think it was his signature look in the end.

Really? I remember seeing a documentary about the 1969 Manson murders in Los Angeles. It stated that the long-time owner of the property on Cielo Drive lived there off and on and traveled with his romantic companion Gayle Hunnicutt.

For David Bowie's tour The Isolar Tour II 1978, Hemmings filmed some of the concerts, apparently Bowie wasn't happy with the results! I think they fell out, I don't know much details on this, but the cuts I've seen, were pretty good, such a shame😮‍💨
