David Hunter: Air Raid In the 4th & 5th Grade!

Today David Hunter shows us how to run 4 Verts & Bubble with 7-8-year-olds & 9-10-year-olds. His 9-10-year-olds won their Bowl Game 32-0 and only ran the ball 6 times the whole game.

What's going on Coach Salas! Really love what you and Coach Lasker are doing for the youth level. -We are adding the Air Raid this year. We won our bowl game last year (2019) as a run heavy team, We were 3rd and 4th graders. We're moving up to the Junior Level this year (4th & 5th Graders) and we're moving up with some Air Raid.

Great stuff, coach. We are a very pass-heavy team at 3rd-4th grade. Shallow Sting just kills opponents. Also run Yankee concept. 2x2 is our base but we also run 3x1. We are play-action heavy to get QB rolling out, helps with pass pro issues.

Absolutely loving the channel, we run a spread/air raid with 8U here in VA.. We are implementing it this summer with 10u.. Let me know what you think of our games/highlights on our page. The coach being interviewed is absolutely correct, it's all about passing reps and implementing confidence in the kids!
