Ian Boyne who conducted this interview, never came to the truth. He died as a binitarian with the belief that God eternally exist as two persons, Father and Son, and that the Holy Spirit is the active force of the Father and the Son. Many oneness believers have presented the truth to Mr. Boyne. In my first discussion with him, he even had a oneness book authored by Pastor Robert Sabin, and in later years he used a oneness book written by Bishop Bernard, and in his teaching, attempted to contradict the truth in the book. He has been exposed to the truth, and apparently never saw it. Ian Boyne died outside of the truth, is in the hands of a just God. Thank God for ministers like Bishop Bernard, who are driven with the zeal for the truth.

He is a Jamaican and, being well aware of the Jamaican passion and interest for dramatic entertainment and friendly drama, he usually shows he enthusiasm and passion in a way that most locals can easily relate to. No one ever leaves his talks feeling (or showing) displeasure. This programme has been the only one of its kind in Jamaica, and since Ian's passing some years ago, there has been nothing to replace it, nor anyone to carry on his unique way of engaging his guests. He was well loved by Jamaicans and highly regarded in his field. We have truly lost a gem in this man.

The name Jesus is a normal human name that was the name of other people in Scripture and is not the name of the eternal God. I come from an atheist agnostic upbringing and recently became Christian. Reading the bible and hearing these talks, to me it seems logical the name is simply Jezus Christ and God is 14 God not divided in 3 persons. The apostles baptised in his name, so did early Christian communities as even Tertulian the early Christian writer talking as a first about the doctrine of the trinity around 200AD when they were formulating it. He said most of his contemporary believers did not follow in his reasoning! Which means, most back then believed in oneness. Somehow the more time past, the more the trinity idea started taking over and is now majority teached. I found that very interesting. Anyway being in a Catholic country I could not agree with the church.Its fruit has been rotten and I find it devoid of spirit and too ritualistic. Thats my take

That's awesome! I knew this doctrine was true when I spoke in tongues. I didn't even know what it was, nor had I learned about it yet in scripture. It was like in John 9:25 He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. I was ignorant to scripture but all I knew is that when I spoke in this tongues that most denominations deny, I instantly knew it was true. Going back to simplicity, Believe in Him, Repent of our sins, Be baptized into the body through His name, Recieve His Spirit. To me, this is the foundation/beginning of being a Christian. Then let's testify to God's power and glory in our lives, make disciples and build our spiritual foundation on Jesus Christ, the Rock of our salvation. Most Trinitarians get really upset when you tell them that everything points to Jesus. If you're a Christian, why would you get upset at the name of Jesus? This always boggled my mind.

I've often wondered the same question, Sister Strouse. According to Trinitarian theology, Jesus is the Son of God, or God the Son in some interpretations. However, the Bible tells us that it was indeed the Holy Ghost that overshadowed Mary and spoke Jesus as a baby inside her womb. If Trinitarian theology were true, would this not technically make Jesus the Son of the Holy Ghost?

Ahh yes I love David Bernard hear, standing up to the monster who have these theology degrees using there language to help them understand this truth. I have found the way in which these men speak is hard to understand at times and refute Bernard does it so well here and I am blessed by this so much. My thoughts are put so much in word when I have thought of the problems of the trinity and in fact they are real problems! I am very blessed to have grown up in this faith of oneness, I have firm teachings that I can bring men and women too in which show the oneness. I see a lot trinity believers get really get stuck on Elohim reference in the unction of the verb used afterward. I am going to have really study these things to get the whole understanding of some of the different Greek and Hebrew to be able to truly stand firm I am thinking of a deep study on this subject I may aswell buy his oneness book! Daniel Ajoum - Jesus said before Abraham was I am. Jesus is God, even the OT proves that. Jesus was fully man and fully God at the same time (1 Timothy 3:16). God is a Spirit, the LORD is that Spirit. God is one person named Jesus Christ, the LORD God Almighty of heaven and earth who beside him there is no Saviour, and that one singular God is triune in his nature. He is Father, Word and Holy Ghost. The Bible literally says it in Galatians 4:6 the Spirit of HIS SON is in our hearts because he said in John 14:18 that he will not leave you comfortless, 👉👉 I WILL COME TO YOU 👈👈. In John 14:16 he said that the Father will send the comforter. That’s because Jesus is the Father (Isaiah 9:6). That is who my God is, and there is none likened unto him. Christ is the Godhead, He is our Father and our Redeemer. Colossians 2:9, Revelation 1:8, Isaiah 63:16. He is triune in the sense that we are based on Genesis 1:26, we are body, soul and spirit, he is Father, Word and Holy Ghost. The three are one because they are each other, just like my trichotomy is the one person of me. One Spirit, one Lord, One God and Father of all in Ephesians 4:4-6. That is NOT one essence, that is one person as we see in Daniel 7 and many other verses. Hebrews 1:1-3 is a good start. You have the invisible God who spake in time past and the Son who has declared him. The one on the throne in Daniel 7 and Revelation 4 will tell us who the Lamb his Son Jesus Christ is declaring. Who is on the throne will tell us whom the Son is the express image of. The Ancient of days in Daniel 7:9-10 on the throne who has the Son of man coming in the clouds to him is the Father. That one on the throne has the 👉exact👈 same description as the Son of man himself in Revelation 1:13-16. Because they are both the same person, the same God, the one God and Father of all. "Well, that's because he is the express image of his person!" Amen! Who is that, though? Who is God in Hebrews 1:1 whom the Son is declaring? The following proves David K. Bernard is correct about the Oneness of God. The following Scriptures proves who Jesus really is and that He is much more than just the Son of God. Deuteronomy 6:4, “Hear O Israel: the Lord our God is ONE Lord.” Then several thousand years later Jesus said in John 10:30, “I and my Father are ONE.” Exodus 3:13-14 states that before Moses came down from the mountain with the Ten Commandments he asked God who shall he say sent him. God said I AM THAT I AM, tell them I AM SENT YOU. Then several thousand years later Jesus said in John 8:58 "Verily, verily I say unto you, before Abraham was, "I AM." God did not reveal what His name was until Matthew 1:23-25, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted, GOD WITH US." 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her first born son and called his name JESUS." Jesus said in John 17:21, “That they all may be one, as thou art in ME, and I in YOU, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that you have sent me.” Matthew 26:15 states that Judas Iscariot (the disciple that betrayed Jesus), “What will you give me if I will deliver him to you? And they (the Chief Priests) weighed out 30 pieces of silver.” Note back in Zechariah 11:12 in the Old Testament it says, “And I said unto them, If you think good, give ME my price and if not forbear. So they weighed for my price 30 pieces of silver.” Note that is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob talking about HIMSELF after He became a MAN and before He was crucified. It says in John 19:34, “But one of the Soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came out blood and water. “Note back in Zechariah 12:10 it says, “....and they shall look upon ME whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him...” Also in Zechariah 13:6 it says, “And one shall say to him (Jesus), What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those are which I was wounded in the house of my friends.” Psalms 22:16, “For dogs have compassed me, the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me, they pierced my hands and my feet.” Also in the Old Testament - Isaiah 53:5, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our piece was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.” Note that is the FATHER of the Old Testament referring to HIMSELF as He was hanging on the cross. Mark 15:24, “And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots for them, what every man should take.” Note back in Psalms 22:18 in the Old Testament it says, “They part my garments among them and cast lots upon my vesture.” Note that is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob referring to HIMSELF as He was hanging on the cross. John 19:29, “Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar, and they filled a sponge with vinegar and put it on a hyssop, and put it to his mouth.” Note back in Psalms 69:21 it says, “They gave ME also gall for my meat and in my thirst they gave ME vinegar to drink.” Jesus said in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life, and they are they which testify of ME.” Jesus is referring to the scriptures in the Old Testament which are referring to HIMSELF before he took on flesh and became a man. (John 1:1, 10 and 14) Paul said in Galatians 1:12 that he was not taught by any man but was taught directly by Jesus himself, which means that whatever Paul did or said was exactly what Jesus told him to say. Paul said in Hebrews 1:8, “But unto the SON he saith, Thy throne O GOD is forever and ever.” Jesus said in John 12:44-45, “He that believes on me believes not on me, BUT ON HIM THAT SENT ME. 45 And he that sees ME sees HIM that sent ME.” John 14:8-10, “Philip said to Jesus, Lord, show us the Father and it will satisfy us. 9 Jesus said unto him, Have I been so long a time with you and yet you have not known me Philip? He that has seen me HAS SEEN THE FATHER, and how do you say now, show us the Father?” 10 Believe thou not that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words I speak unto you I speak not of myself, but the Father that DWELLS IN ME - HE DOES THE WORKS.” Jesus said in John 14:28, “....for my Father is greater than I.” In other words, that paragraph is saying that the flesh and blood man Jesus did not heal the sick or raise the dead - the FATHER which dwelt INSIDE Him did those works, which He and the Father are ONE, which explains why Jesus said the Father is greater than he is. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:19, “To wit that God was IN Christ, reconciling the world unto HIMSELF." Paul said in Colossians 2:8-10, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily. 10 And you are complete in HIM (Jesus), which is the head of all principality and power.” The Godhead is IN Jesus - JESUS IS THE GODHEAD. Jesus said in Matthew 23:37, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that killed the prophets and stoned them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together even as a hen gathered chickens under her wings, and you would not listen!” That is a very interesting scripture because Jesus is speaking as the flesh and blood man he was at that time but ALSO speaking as the FATHER (they are ONE) and referring to a time long before Jesus was born. All the scriptures above prove the ONENESS of God and that there is no such thing as the Trinity. We get the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost in the Name Jesus, which is why every time water Baptism was done in the Name Jesus, or in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, meaning Jesus name was invoked at baptism, which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7-8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16. At no time did Jesus disciples use any combination of the words Father, Son, and Holy Ghost when they baptized anyone in water, or use a combination of those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4,"Take heed that no man deceives you." Jesus also said Jesus in John 10:27,"My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

The church had always believed in the Oneness of God. But the issue is in our understanding of the Person of Christ, "God in the flesh", the Word was with God and "the Word is God". And the understanding of "Spirit". In the Spirit is Oneness, but in the Physical is Individuality. Bible says, "he that is joined in with Lord is One Spirit". God is Spirit not Human... For instance, Christ being in the heart's of all believers in the Spirit is One Christ and not two, No one can say their are many different Persons of Christ in each Individual believer. Yet we all know we have received Him, and we kinda understand this great mystery. Same also is the mystery of God manifesting Himself in the flesh. The visible physical Manifestation of the Invisible Spiritual One. If we need to invoke the name that is so important we should not use Jesus as that was not his name as he walked on this earth. His name was Yahshua the fathers name Yahweh can you see how the father’s name is revealed in the son? Yah as in Hallelujah should be HalleluYah His name being Yah the letter J has only been in existence for about 400 years so his name could not have been Jesus! They also tried to take the Jewishness out of his name. LORD is also a title not a name which they used to use to refer to Baal in ancient times. I have read most of the comments and I find that we must give the host credit. 1. It is his show, he is a trinitarian. He has a right to question Dr. Bernard. 2. He does a great job reiterating where they are in the discussion because he had to take station breaks and commercial breaks 3. The hosts style of reasoning may be directly related to the Jamaican way of reasoning through a topic. He even said “I am not debating”. 4. Dr. Bernard through the Holy Ghost treated this situation as though it is a bible study. He allowed the host to present objections to his position. 5. Unlike many Trinitarians the host conceded when Dr. Bernard gave a good answer or argument. He even suggested that the listener read Bernard’s books.6. The host seems to be almost persuaded concerning baptism. He was at least open to considering being rebaptised. 7. It showed scholarship and restraint from both people to allow the other to finish: This was a great dialogue and the listener went away with a lot to think about. I am Oneness but I think many people that commented below have misunderstood the host and have not considered the 7 points I mentioned above.

H2O does not remit/forgive sins anymore than it did with mikvehs. Being "born of water" refers to born of the flesh (mother's womb), where's being born again or "born of the Spirit" is to likewise be baptized in the Spirit. This can happen prior to, at the time of, or after H2O baptism. H2O doesn't save anyone, but is a public confession of salvation.
