I absolutely hate when people judge how others grieve. I remember 4 months after my mother died a co-worker, who was surprised over how sad about it I still was, said to me, "I guess some people are not as strong as you think." ??!! I admonished her for that and reminded her of how sad she had been after her mother died. And while I don't judge the way Kim and Fred Goldman have grieved their horrific loss, I do still find myself judging how much they've embraced and utilized the media attention over the years. Kim currently has a Manager(!) and once worked for a TV production company, she still pitches TV projects, while Fred hosted a (failed?) radio show. I could understand the prosecutors having gone totally "Hollywood", but it bothers me with the Goldmans. I admit I gotta work on that.
