I was born and raised in Boise Idaho. We had family in Portland that we would visit almost every summer during the 80's! Organ Grinder was always at the top for places we would go to! Such a magical experience every time! Such a shame that the interest died and Organ Grinder was closed forever! I recently visited Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa AZ! That place is awesome to say the least!! Thanks for the memories!!

Mom taking us to the Organ Grinder was one of my sisters and I great memories. Very sad it's gone but I can close my eyes while listing to the music and be taken back in time to my youth. Thank you to David Lee for your music, this is wonderful to listen to. Now I need to find it so I can crank it up in my car!

this and the one in portland were the only one with MIDI controllers for the percussions. at least until the organ stop in mesa started using one.

Electronic control based on the switch settings on the Wurlitzer organ itself. The system and pipe mechanisms were AMAZING!

Never heard of the Paramount Music Palace?It was Indianapolis from 79 to 95.It housed a monster of a Theatre organ too!a Wurlitzer with 3000 pipes and tons of percussions and a row of trumpets in the balcony.several recordings on youtube as well.Ill send one your way

Organ Stop Pizza has a 23 rank Wurlitzer theatre organ. 1149 E. Southern Avenue Mesa, AZ 85204

Can't reply, it's too old, but Bruce Harrison, Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa does not have a 23-rank organ...any more. As far as I know, it's currently at 76 ranks.
