David Levy - Trial of Maligog - DOOM Eternal Ancient Gods Gamerip Soundtrack

Here's my mix of David Levy's track from recent Ancient Gods DLC for Doom Eternal. I hope you enjoy it, as well as my other Doom Eternal / Doom 2016 videos.
Video design is inspired by Mick Gordon Doom 2016 OST uploads.
It's unlikely that I'll mix other tracks from Ancient Gods, though I may change my mind.
In case you're interested, right now I'm polishing my UAC Atlantica Facility 100% playthrough. I'll publish Vega Core 100% after it.

It's nice to see a video that expands upon the style Mick had for the 2016 OST!! The glitches are great, though if I had to make a recommendation: more pentagrams and Slayer marks, but that's just me! Also this mix is phenomenal!!

Wow, that's awesome. I've tried completing UN with no HUD, but when I was fighting Samur I had to turn it on. Samur's pretty tough boss, not gonna lie. You're mad lad

@@ArchRevival I was so close to dying on one particular arena near the end of the level. It has a secret encounter with marauder and a blood angel nearby. I was almost stuck several times due to barons and gargoyles surrounding and pushing me into corners, so I even had to use an energy shield which I kinda dislike because it's op

@@ArchRevival The whole DLC is kinda easy except for those tough arenas in The Holt and for the final boss

@@fatmetro Yeah that arena is rough, I did it without using the BFG so I could save 2 shots for the spirit tyrant, I got right in the face of a blood maykr all of a sudden, so I and had to whip out the chaingun shield which saved my life.

How are people "mixing" it with the game files? Is there a tutorial you can link?

well, you either extract the audio from the game files, or you record it in-game with other sounds turned off. Then you take it to some audio editor, cut it into pieces and "mix" as you like, adding transitions where needed.

@@fatmetro Hey, thanks for replying! How are the transitions added without parts being choppy? Like are the parts all separated in loop files? I could search I suppose but rather get it straight from the source. Thanks again.

@@doukybooty2105 for that i reccomend just getting the music files inside the game since theyre separated parts of the soundtrack and u really dont have to do work if the transition is smooth or anything. But be ready theres 1000+ files of music and all of them in random order. Its a pain but just make folders for each soundtrack

Yeah I know what you mean. This is an old gamerip and the volume fluctuates because of the muted maligog cubes sounds. I've uploaded another version of this track without those spikes of volume.

No, it's just the "gritty" or "realistic" filter in settings. Try them out. I also don't use any "dark" mods or reshade
