I am not an emotional guy, but the tribute played on your Weissenborn brought tears to my eyes when thinking about the loss of David Lindley. He music meant a lot to me and it really filled out the musical sound of so many others like Jackson Browne. Thank from the bottom of my usually hard heart which was softened by your music today.

This is a masterpiece. The dynamics, intonation, those small strums - this really made feel Lindley’s loss, and in a piece by Jackson Browne, whose music introduced David to me and so many others. Thank you.

For all of his goofiness and musical skills, I think David Lindley more importantly had a warm heart. If you loved music and how it bonds us together somehow, I believe you were OK in Mr. Lindley's book. This piece is short, but it sure is one of the nicest musical tributes I've ever come across - very well-matched to the individual in question.

This is so lovely. I was fortunate enough to attend a solo acoustic show that David played in a chapel in Claremont. It was a transcendent experience, those open tunings resonating so beautifully in the old building. Thank you for bringing that back to me.

@@pharmerdavid1432 yep, made out of mahogany. I’ve never compared it to another one, so I don’t really know the sound difference. In this video I used a sound hole pickup (seymour duncan magmic) along with AKG 414 mic. So the sound is those two things blended together. Thanks for listening.

Sorry to hear that David Lindley has left us. I had the honor of shaking his hand when he was in a pizza restaurant in Regensburg, GE. one day... must have scared the poor guy half to death when I approached his talbe to say I am his biggest fan, he was very polite and I saw him play that evening with a guy on percussion. He had a a great talent and I hope some of it rubbed off, i think about him sometimes when I practice.
