Prayers for the handful of "hayokas" they have the most difficult life. Always isolated, often cry for the people, im pretty sure they don't even use the internet, no friends, no children... I send love and light to the hayoka, everyone on here should too.

I feel as my whole life I played the role of the sacred clown. Being the black sheep of the family I chose the path less traveled in life. I suffered this body through addiction and spent many years on what some would call the dark path of life. Only to go down that path later in life to bring others to light and pull them from the struggle by sharing my insight and using my story as a beacon of hope. Light , Love, Grace , and peace to you all my spirit family. North, South, East and West ()

Beautiful Sharing! Thank You. You gave understanding of something that happened long decades ago. Our Sundance had never had Heyokas before. Just before entering our helper said " Be Strong" in our ear....be strong?? We didn't understand! And then we felt them change. The power was ....no words. Suddenly we felt our bodies moved and a Dakota woman said dig your big toe into Mother Earth and don't lift it when you dance. The women who could hear her stayed but rest of dancers were careening out of control everywhere...the singers drumming all erratic and too their voices. The People were laughing til they cried....we felt their tears cleansing not just their lives but Mother Earth as they fell. Laughter is cleansing.....Laughter is Healing.....I did not understand ...but I will Never Forget The Power we felt! We just had hail and a Loud Thunderstorm...I had just lite cedar/sage when I saw your video...the hail stopped...now I understand why the Tornado would lift up over the Sundance and come down on the other side...why we always had so much Cedar! Without your video...never would have understood.

I rode a Bike to Mexico from the He Sapa, when I got into Yellowstone, I was near the Waters, beautiful secluded place away from people and tourists, they say 90% of Yellowstone isn’t seen by tourists, just those roads they’re on. I went to a space undisturbed on the Bicycle, I was admiring the beauty and pure ness, all of a sudden I hear a loud Thud hit the ground, I turned around and a Buffalo scurried up a trail away from me lol, it felt like he was taking in that Pureness with me, admiring me admiring everything after I recall the moment in hindsight, and it felt like he fell from the sky lol, later that day, I go to the West of the Forests, I notice a huge mountain, looking like a bear at the angle I was, the bear looked like it was laying on its belly watching the sunset, I snapped a picture for proof, it’s really cool. On the last day after checking out the Volcanic activities I had a dream before, a thunder and lighting dream. In the dream, out of a Canyon, Tatanka Ska in the shape of a Tornado had come out of the Canyon, huge, as I look in its eyes, lightning had flashed making its horns. Later that year after riding my bike all that way, I looked into my ancestry some more, I found out DuBrays come from an old Lakota Chief Wearer named Fast Whirlwind, he helped appoint Crazy Horse and had been a leader along with Smoke among the Oglalas. I also found out his daughter Millicent (Mila Sa Win- Americanized) had children for Elbridge Gerry the 3rd, an American Founding Father during the time of the Treaties. I found out so much, Gerry was coming from Massachusetts trading with Lakotas Guns for Buffalo and their beautiful works. But He went overboard with 7 wives so the daughter of Fast Whirlwind left him with a man named John DuBray back to Red Cloud Agency and her Oglala people. Her children adopted the name DuBray and this is our family history I can now tell. Wophila tanka for all of your work, it is truly Wakan what you do for the people, you sound like a Leksi speaking when I listen, A’ho Mitakuye Oyasin.

wow! I listened to this last night about Wakinyan during a storm. this morning a turtle walked right past my backdoor and stopped and spend time looking eye to eye. we are building a pond but not there yet. I did find a puddle big enough for turtle to swim and submerge. thank you for this info. I wonder about your thoughts about non natives using the term heyoke. it used a lot as an empath term. the word is light a bolt of lightning to me the first time I heard it. but I respect that it is not my word to define. thank you and blessings.

I am going to play this for my kids as my 25 year old daughter has always been shamed by employers and when she was in school for aleays wereing black and never looking people in the eyes. I always told her she didnt have to if she was not comfertable doing so and till she was an adult I wold scold them for shaming her. I have been watching so many each day now! I'm learning so much from you! I truly appreciate you putting the info out there!! So happy I found you! I did see the the guy you mentioned, that says he's a chief, golden. eagle? Yeah, I'm sticking with you my friend!! You got me when you spoke about the duality!! What you are saying about the Star knowledge & 3 perspectives makes so much sense to me!! I don't know when you made these but you mention you are in Berlin. Where are you located now, just curious? I'm really enjoying your sense of humor!! I know when you are starting to tell a story & crack up laughin, it's gonna be so funny!! I already feel like we have been friends for a long time!! Before I go, I wanted to say that I got a chance to hear two of your songs last night!! First was your Beautiful Love Song!! I don't speak Lakota but I'm taking notes!! That song was so incredible I was crying!! That's the kind of love we All want!! The second one was Mahasa! That was very special & rocked!! You see, my son, 35 is a Lyracist and Singer, for 20 yrs now!! You made a comment about we can get rid of the song about where the love is & laughed!! Apparently we must be close to the same age or into the same music influences!! I'm 55 & curious about your age my friend? I'm usually up late, that's why I asked where you are. Wondering about the time difference? I'm in Virginia. I was extremely proud of you, when you spoke of a beautiful lady that was hitting you up when you were in a committed relationship & she knew & how you delt with her!! Much Respect To You My Friend!! Have a great night!!

I've always been an outcast. I am a man and I can go to work and do everything expected of a man. But I can see pain in others and comfort them like a woman. I tell so many jokes with a straight face that nobody knows if I'm telling the truth. Usually I am. I only lie if it is a real joke. I've walked alone for 31 years and buried more family and friends than I can count. I've made music my whole life. I've learned more songs than most have heard and with the help of something else I've made more songs than most people understand. I don't understand what the hell I am. I've been trying to figure out for 20 years but I don't know. Am I a sacred clown. I feel like something beyond us has been laughing at me my whole life

That is quite the question. I am white, still they are not my people. Some are awakened to it. Church first took our roots. There is not much left on the path. So Heyoka might be the closest explanation which can be found to understand themselves and their path. I feel turtle island is the center of change to mankind. So white people might awaken to Heyoka to help the change all over the world. To make a trend of it is…well humans in their egos. I didn’t know it became a trend already. Still how should white people learn the way back, if their own roots are nearly gone? All in all we hope for peace and healing and love. The rise of the matriarchy. At least I do.

The Spiritualist would call the Wakinyan representative of total duality. The Oneness of all. That would be why the Wakinyan would be able to cleanse and balance the world. Unfortunately, all are not as spiritual to see that totality. I am sure that there are many more things that the Wakinyan does that we do not know.

I like how these new heyoka empath videos describe heyokas so well, and im surprised because not much is known about native culture, but people seem to be quite informed about the heyoka, one of the hardest ones to figure out, im not saying they have everything figured out about every heyoka, there is still individuality and differences between zodiacs and things like that, i tend to believe in zodiacs because of the accuracy that i see in my own life, im a scorpio, i believe im a heyoka and ive had the calling, a dream about lightning, and i have bipolar 2 disorder and schizophrenia, and my personality is a intp last time i checked a long time ago, and my iq is 110, Im Oglala Lakota, Cheyenne River, some texas tribe, i believe cherokee and part mexican, but im from the city I didn’t grow up on a reservation but ima fairly traditional in a way, i dont know if i want to be a traditional heyoka, it sounds hard with all those rules associated with it it seems like people are trying to control heyokas while they get to do whatever they want, im not for that, i want to be free and i dont want special rules on me that others dont have to follow as well yk, im different but that doesnt mean i should be restricted more than other, i know the rules are like safeguards but i hate narcissistic gatekeepers or rude gatekeepers who want to control things, im sorry for all my wrongdoings and behavior but i really have good intentions at the end of the day, i feel like life is just hard for people like me, heyokas, scorpios, mental disorders, and things like that of that nature

Not Lakota, but I get the sacred nature of the Wakinyan. Both aspects of the creator, made whole, as one. 💞 Just received the knowledge that I'm Heyoka. Don't know if I'll use that term because I am not native but I'm blessed to have been born with that energy.

I want to say Aho! and tell you what a blessing this was to my spirit as I journey on my path. I am a shamanic student and have had many encounters with Native American spirit elders and life changing experiences while journeying or praying and often dreams of a native American child who is a guide for me. This child told me I was "sacred clown" recently and it changed my life as I began to open and learn of Heyokas. My Irish grandmother always caked me an empath. I guess my questing for you or my curiosity out of great respect is this, if I have no native American ancestry in my lineage, why I've had these experiences and synchronization throughout my 43 years? Is this common? Could it be because I feel the earth's pain and respect it and the cultures? Could it be part of my path to becoming a shamanic healer? I would be very happy to hear from you

A lot of new age non natives say they're Heyoka in recent years, I have no idea why but I've definitely noticed a trend. Just type in the word heyoka to KZbin or other social media and it's almost never about Lakota beliefs but instead weird hippie crap.

I'm kinda curious, also...admittedly, baffled. Why would there be a "Path" For Heyoka to follow? Are we not the Trickster Gods who defy the so-called beaten norms? Do we not go by our own beat? Or are we forced to succumb to the ideas laid down by others before us? I thought it was our role to counter the norm, to bring to question and doubt the "Culture" we cling too so strongly. Am I wrong, then? Is Heyoka merely another "vocation" with a set path to follow? If so, it somehow rings hollow.

From various descriptions I've read in addition to this, Heyoka sounds to me like a sort of "spirit warrior ACTIVIST" type (kind of what I have found fits me; but I would not use the term unless it were someday given by suitably qualified members of these nations). He playfully disregards unjust rules to show the ruler where they are corrupt/going wrong in ruling. I find it rather weird that it seems to have morphed in some "western pop modernist spirituality" (which seems to become very individualist and _capitalist_ focused - problem!) to some "the world's most Powerful Empath", whatever the fk that means(*). To be fair, to do the role of Heyoka well one would need a finely developed empathic sense, but to say it _is_ that makes no sense. This version makes a lot more sense. Also funny that an awful lot of those in such circles who call themselves "Heyokas" are actually women, not men; as you point out an equivalent exists for women but is _not_ Heyoka, compounding the mis(ab?)use of this term in "pop cult modernist spirituality". Also interesting they are queer, too :) (*) this "empath" concept I find gets more and more criticized because it seems _de facto_ to refer to a human with a rather unbalanced emotional keel even if empathetically-focused; likely common w/someone abused; IMO the ideal (healthy) empath _should_ mean someone whose sense of empathy is well-regulated, keen, and skillfully applied to benefitting those around them. Basically a "high EQ" human.

JD Raeb from the zap of lightening pmsl... When the lightening bolt travels from the clouds to earth ground it actually opens up little holes in the air, called a channel.. Once then light is gone the air collapse back in that creates a sound wave that we hear as THUNDER, hope you understand , and believe me or not as you have your own brain us Thunderbeings can sometimes manipulate it but you will only say that I need help lol which is understandable 😉 ⚡️
