I am a Hollow Horn Bear. My Grandma was Theresa Hollow Horn Bear. I am 5th generation direct descendant. Duane is Our Family Chief who carries our Family Pipe and Head Dress. Chief Hollow Horn Bear was Poisoned by the white house wen 19 Chiefs were takn there to sign the treaties in 1886. After the signing the next morning wen they woke up 11 Chiefs were dead. They claimed they died from tuberculosis. Lies, Nobody was sick. They sent My Great Great Great Grandfathers body home in a wood box with all of his belongings missing except Our Familys Head Dress. 75 years later our Family Pipe was found in a Kansas city museum. It was brought back to Us wen i was 14years old. I got to Pray and smoke with my Elders because I had to take the place of my Mom, cuz she had her Moon. Most Spiritual Power went thru my whole Being that day and forever on. I will never forget where or who i come from. I Belong. We come from a longline of Medicine people and Storytellers who take the Pain for the People ✊👑🙏❤ LILILILILILILI 💥💫💪🏽❤

I am a black American Christian and find parallels in ancient history and religious history. Parallels in abrahamic, native American, and even some African tribal history, what parallels are there with the Slavic histories? I'm a very curious about both the parallels and Slavic culture tbh
@jaylol7226
@jaylol7226 Ай бұрын
I only know a little about it from my own research but the traditional heritage and religions of the Slavic peoples were similarly almost entirely wiped out. I highly recommend anyone reading this study them, too, as they do in fact bear a lot of similarities to other native cultures around the world and are equally important to understanding the human condition from the perspective of its most ancient and fundamental roots.

@@TheJpf79 That's really cool! I'm Scots-Cherokee. When I saw Dances With Wolves, I found myself understanding most of what they were saying, after reading the book Hanta Yo (aka Mystic Warrior), but thought something was a little off. Only later on did I find out they had modified / simplified the Sioux language for the actors.

@@twodogs716 I am in a group on facebook, it has 800 people, many have been using the internet to research their common bond, poems and stories have survived for a long time here though later changes have been made and the old languages are hard to translate, common themes exist in other tales from other places, Our last name Fitzpatrick can be traced back 2000 years to a tiny little part of Ireland that was then called Osraige which means The people of the deer, before that, people would call old stories myth so no one knows, yet in these stories and old tales I have read and heard common themes exist.

As told to me by father, my great-grandfather was of the Lakota people, from a place called Rosebud or some such. His family was very poor and had not much to eat, so he became a horse thief and after a time, became a wanted man. He escaped north to Canada and headed East. After traveling for some time, he came back into the United States through Niagara and found refuge with the Tuscarora. He married an Tuscarora woman, settled down and my Grandfather was born, along with many siblings. So, thank you, Duane Hollow Horn Bear for the story. It reaches farther than perhaps you know.

All right , I shouldn't have written the word "these" ... my mistake , I apologize . We have no more truly learned elders ... We have fairy tales (Grimm & Andersen ; Sleeping Beauty & Snowwhite) ; YOU have creation stories , Corn Woman, tricksters Coyote & Iktomi , and so many others (we shoul learn from) .. ALL from ancient times surviving . I really think it is SO wonderful (and important for future generations) that these lessons (that's what they are, aren't they ?) have continued in spite of everything . Let me come to my name ; At my time of birth it was a very popular name in the Netherlands and the biblical (Jewish) name is spelled Esther . I know a Shoshone women by the name of Esther , an she certainly isn't Jewish . My parents took out the 'h' on purpose . And I sincerely regret I hurt your feelings .

mojo jojo I interpreted Madrel Ester’s comment(s) not patronizing but just trying to come across as understanding & maybe apologetic... as a Native, Lakota, I don’t take a critical approach to those who are capable of admitting faults that were committed to the Original inhabitants of, yes, Turtle island.

I tried to get stories "out of " my grandpa (only had one) an grandma's (had both) . As Europeans from the Netherlands , elders seem to be pretty secretive . My grandfather spent several years in the camp of Dachau during WWII, his wife raised 4 kids while he was away , and on the other side they were in Indonesia. I know some of the stories here but not enough to transmit to my daughter . So she will loose hr inherited stories , will not remember where she comes from (well , being first generation SHE will but her kids won't) , and that is how our European History will go nihil ... Maybe just as good ... We destroy so much !

Sad thing is, he made it up. It’s not even authentic, it was never taught this way, also the entity Eyah was actually a evil giant that terrorized the plains and stole and ate people. The fact he used this character as the (source) is way more disturbing. He should be called out and change his name to “Lies for wampum”. Even worse the comments are full of people from his tribe that don’t know any better...

We know about the inner civilizations they call shangri-la and swaszi-land. Greys and draconians lol You have alot of learning to do son. You don't even know about the red dawn. Aaron Arsenault she would be sad if she heard this nonsense. Our ancestors never taught or believed in these lies. Our story had a creator and resembled the Bible story of creation, plus Eyah was actually a evil giant that terrorized the plains eating people, mostly women and children. To use him as the “source” is wrong on so many levels...

My soul is telling me not to be afraid...but during my journey in finding the flute so I can pray for humanity. I am mutating with earth . Have denied spirituality my whole life but the strong events are showing me the path through these steps....abuse, seeing, healing, more abuse and more seeing, losing weight, job, family everything caring love and positivity and not understanding why ...I give thousand of options to find love peace, to connect with earth, but they choose the one negative exit...i am so weak, but I feel like I must stay alive as something tells me I am important for what’s happening. I’m watching these videos and being like ....it’s like I already knew this, and it’s overwhelming. I can’t help but help others to find peace within, strip it all out...they avoid me, people get weird around me and I used to feel like, is it me ? But I have absolutely nothing against you. I have never done anything ...now I see about the mirror..helping and teaching people to find the vibrations to match with the open mind and peace to live in the present, but able to feel what that means. I’m just a kid, I still feel like I knew all of this as a kid. Seeing they could be anything they wanted to be, discover things beyond of what they can create and as history shows...destroy eventually. I feel it inside of me. I cried watching the first video about Heyokas and it was anonymous who made it....it touched my soul and I knew I wasn’t just an empath. .... omg,..it’s too much in my head...I stayed at times awake for 6 days in the past 2 months. And I slept and woke up just fine and the fluctuation of everything in the world and within myself it’s crazy. I have answers to so many things....i, m

Jerry Flakus then you might wanna go somewhere else, nothing he said was actually tribal tradition except the name Eyah. That was a evil giant that terrorized the plains eating women and children.

I was born and live in New Zealand (a very small country in the Southern Hemisphere beside the continent of Australia) but recently I became aware that my Indian Nation family is the Lakota. Thank you, thank you Elder Duane Hollow Horn Bear - I will share your story of The Origin with much respect. I know of a Master called Ea, but he has another letter after that - I sense it is either L or M - does anyone else know of him, and/or his correct name?

I was given the name T'ȟáȟča lúzahAŋ. Even though I am Kenian'kehaka. I crave the stories of other nations and Their Elders so I can pass them on to all that want the knowledge. Nia:wen for your teachings.

Wendy Maddock how is his wisdom vast? He literally stole the white mans theory of evolution and used the name of a evil giant as the source of everything. It’s more disturbing than anything..
