It's 4:45am in Los Angeles. Misty drizzle and wet sidewalks walked to 711 to get cigs. Beautiful... First time I heard or listened to this album. Great soundtrack to my life tonight while I was working on attaching bones, feathers and shaping wings out of palm fronds to my Angel mask project. Quite pleased. Also, twinded 2 pairs of dried chicken claws and it looks great hanging from ceiling. I don't know why I do things like this. Ideas like this enter my mind. It comes in steps and evolves. When I was in grade school, there were times my family, teachers and friends would ask me... "Why do you create these strange things." I would reply... IDK. My mom a couple of years back while looking at my photography along with other family members during the holidays in 2019. Mentioned to me that I am still doing my strange style of photography (50 years). My family all had storys about my creations and it was nice muxh laughter. However, she mentioned that I told her in 8th grade that I see the world differently and tried to explain to make her what I meant. I finally told her that the closest example in my vision and angles and most important the mood & feeling is like a David Lynch movie. She thought sarcastically "Oboy that's just great, D.L. movies give me nightmares and I have no idea what going on. My poor son that must be terrible. He'll grow out of it." I forgot all about this. I'm happy, doing fine. Thanks David.

There's a moment about 40 minutes in, where you can faintly hear instruments playing from far away, just out of reach. Like they're coming from a record player in a basement, in a house, behind a thin veil from another world. It was absolutely haunting and gave me goosebumps.

It's called "slow 30s room" and was used in Giant's apartment in Twin Peaks The Return. Pretty nice track.

David Lynch played this part on a vintage Optigan organ by Mattel. The disc used is called Big Band Beat. I own two Optigans both have their quirks ( in a good way) you can flip the optical discs to play them in reverse or even put two discs in at once for even more strangeness. Instant Lynch sound.

"I always think about music a lot because music is, takes pacing in time and it goes through many of the same steps that a film goes through. In order to get this feeling here, certain things have to have proceed to that and they have to be a certain way and if those things are done correctly, when you hit this, you get a result. And that's the power of music and the potential power of cinema."(David Lynch)

This is probably one of the best dark ambient soundtracks I've ever heard, and not just because of David Lynch's name on it. I get the feeling I'm going to come back to this album quite often.

i think this soundtrack is absolutely stunning!it's dark, it's creepy, it's eerie, it's mysterious and incredibly fascinating. A great contribution to experimental music, that could certaintly fit into one of his movies. David Lynch is a f...genius!!!!
