Before I was born. Keeping studying you have much to learn. Yes. You are correct. And there is more than one meaning to anointing. One of the meanings mean to break chains and such as Jeremiah and Christ. And there are many manifestations of anointing and the anointed. The power of the living God through his Holy Spirit manifests differently for others who carry the anointed. It could come in the service of love as the transatlantic slaves did for 400 years as a kingdom of God. They were anointed. King David was anointing because when he sang and played his music he calmed the demons in souls from tormenting that soul. The anointing can manifest as Prophet Elijah who had a double anointing which he called rain out of the sky and fire by the power of the living God. Daniel was anointed when he sat in the den of lions and was not eaten. Must I go on? Priscilla and the women in the new testament were anointed to have the courage and strength to continue in their faith when the men were executed right before their eyes. Everyone anointed had a role and power to carry out their divine appointment. The anointing helps you to show up in your calling and election: assignment, without it you are unable to serve God. The anointing you are talking about is the Messiah's role anointing which is a certain type of anointing just like Elijah's anointing, and Moses Anointing or a Prophet's anointing. An everlasting life that is why resurrection is said that he is the resurrection, because he resurrects people from the dead. And so everyone changes. Some will die and some will not die but change. He is the salvation on earth because he was God's only son. And he came into this world because God loved this world and did not hate it.
