It's still crazy to think even now this guy was chosen to replace Sir Alex. No trophies, no title challenges, no away victories with Everton in 11 years at Old Trafford, the Emirates/Highbury, Stamford Bridge or Anfield and more importantly no previous experience of managing a club the size and stature of Manchester United. The wounds are still literally healing from that disastrous appointment. The club gave the job to a man that averaged around seventh in the league and that's exactly what happened.

On top of that, thing is as my teacher(who is a Liverpool supporter) said Ferguson left United at one of the worst times possible. And I agree, he left an ageing squad which needed a complete overhaul but the supporters had the same massive expectations for the club. Fergie's United was dwindling after the 2011-12 tbh. Moyes was the scapegoat for the fall. I feel Moyes was underhanded a bad deal.

Great managers know their best 11. Moyes was very indecisive. Always chopping and changing, and tinkering with the squad. He would bottle it during big important games by playing very negatively and When united was a goal down, he would freeze and run out of ideas. The difference between a top manager (ex:Fergie, Mourinho, Pep or Ancelotti) and a mid table manager like Moyes is wining mentality. Average managers like Moyes doesn't instill wining mentality into their players. Instead Moyes goes into matches with the mindset of coming out as a draw would be a win for him.
