***** I'm so hooked on your music... You know, I can't really say your newer version is "better" than this one. There's a subtly different mood in this one - more melancholy, maybe....I love them both. Put this on a loop and I'll listen to it all day.

Thanks again for listening, Sandi. This older version is from four years ago (wow, I can't believe it has been that long!) and I was only really just starting to learn how to play and record at that time so there were some things I wanted to 'fix'. In the newer version it was just smoother and more fluid especially in the bridge and also the recording was much better due in part to using much less reverb than in this one! :-D

"Just starting to learn how to play" :) ...well, it's obvious, then, you were born musically gifted. Technical improvements in GoogleLand seem to last about 6 months before they start compressing the heck out of the recordings (some of my older recordings don't even sound like a piano anymore). But your beautiful playing - style, expression, phrasing...that doesn't change, with or without "improvements". You've got it in spades, Iain! Come to the U.S. and play on my piano anytime. :)
