When we watch this, we don't see labor exploitation as much as we see performers and wonder how difficult it was for them. Obviously they've practiced, and if not a "comfortable" role, they understand and accept what it requires. So, what was it like? I can sort of understand the interest in doing it out of curiosity to find out. Frisson, probably, while being carried in and hoisted up. Then? Maybe zone out until it's over? Or heightened awareness of your situation? How long did it last, from being suited up to release? Good to know before signing on.

Why is everyone dressed in white? Is this an "Asylum" sort of theatre? Was this done in a public exhibition, or private space?

I was not attempting an "asylum" aesthetic. The use of white (or off-white) made sense as the colour of undyed canvas and cotton fabric generally. The piece is about labour exploitation in the textile and clothing industry and the agency or non-agency of the individual. The exhibition and performance was open to the public.
