Interesting to listen to the part about National Speed. I was a salesperson there and got laid off with a handful of others prior to the thatdudeinblue collaboration they did. Hated to see it happen again with the whole Richmond shop getting shut down. It was a fun place to work sometimes and you see a lot of interesting stuff and people but it could also be miserable a lot of the time. There were a lot of passionate employees there and a ton of knowledge but that can only go so far.

Fun fact about lfa's, the last 3 new off the line were sold in north america in 2019. But the last unregistered 1 was sold "new" to its first real owner in australia in 2023, because the rules there state a vehicle is unregisterable after 10 years, so the dealership was forced to sell it so it could become registerable

Love the pods! You should try to interview Emilio from boosted boiz, and also I think interviewing the wives of all the crew would be interesting. How they handle the schedules etc.

I watched gt academy when it was on, so can confirm, it was well done. Since it was based on a real story, and Jann was on set and even stunt driving, i think thats what made it a good movie. Since it wasnt really based on the video game, thats what made it good. Had they tried to make a video game movie, that would have been bad like need for speed.
