Wow, that Sea line reel will make an interesting video! I have those Daiwa spinning reels though I haven’t used them just yet. I really like that last Ambassador reel. I hope you’ll do that one. Oh, Dennis, I serviced a very interesting spinning reel today. It was a Daiwa Emblem Pro 5000. It has the worm gear oscillation mechanism. I could not get the two screws out to free the axle shaft so I had to work around it. It wasn’t a problem but boy do I like the reel. It is what is called a Pit or Carp reel but makes an outstanding surf fishing reel. I’m not ready to disassemble that Abu Garcia S3000M Suveran reel yet. It is a very complicated spinning reel! - Chris

Dennis. I’m getting ready to start servicing a Mitchell 300 and 302. I recall you addressing what position the anti reverse should be in while servicing. Unfortunately I can’t remember if you recommend having the anti reverse engaged or disengaged.

Turn the anti-reverse lever to off to disengage the dog prior to removing the main gear
