People please be kind to Maria, it’s her first time as a tv show host and she’s definitely watching this too and seeing for herself what can be improved upon. Interjecting the guest with a few questions here and there is a very common and useful practice used by hosts. She’s not supposed to stay silent and let him speak for too long, it’s not poetry. I’m sure she’d do her interjecting better in the next episodes that would be filmed later on. For now, I think we should applaud her for this awesome show because this world needs it.

I have been there ,I have done that. It's a very dark part. I have been clean from crack and Wonga for 3yrs now. Now I won't even smoke cigarettes or drink a drop of alcohol...... I'm happy for you man.

He has truly overcome the addiction. For him to freely and openly discuss it, is a proof that the drugs doesn't control him anymore. I pray his story gives strength to those that are still struggling with addiction. Thank you for sharing your story David. And thank God for the love of a good mother. A good mother's love is indeed unconditional. Although, I have not heard the concluding part, I can sense that his mum support was instrumental to his freedom from the siege of drug use.

Well, he is not completely off the hooks. Cravings are strong urges that comes and goes and they are constant.... Mr David has stood up tall because he has maintained therapy so well and does makes use of coping mechanisms for managing cravings till date!

A lot of people don't know how it's almost impossible to quit Crack once you start. It's takes divine intervention and extreme determination from the addict.

I wish I could reach David. I’d like to talk to him about someone. One morning in 2018 she walked into my consulting room bcos she was dealing with this addiction. I didn’t know what to do. But I recommended joining support groups, fighting the urge & attending church more. I was wrong 😭. She went up to a month without it & the last I heard from her was a call from the bunk in area 1 in Abuja and her line has not gone through since then. I’ve been thinking about her all along. It’s been 4yrs+. She was a good girl influenced by friends. I don’t even know if she is alive or dead 😢. I wish to see her one more time and play my part in helping her get over it. God if you’re up there (and I know you are), please bring her back. 🙏 😭

I hope your story goes viral and inspire all the addicts out there to get help. I have never in my life even seen crack or cocaine or any other hard drugs with my 2 eyes I’ve only heard about it in movies and i have no interest whatsoever to even see it and I know myself to say confidently that no amount of peer pressure can make me do hard drugs.
