Dear David, if you ever read this know that we’re all beyond happy and proud of you for overcoming what could have killed you. Your mom is a true life angel who deserves everything good in life. May God bless her for never giving up on you! I’m also glad those young girls got the help they needed and are doing well today. I live in Abuja and can’t believe places like those bunks really exist. How is it that the government haven’t raided those places ?? How? how ??? To all the parents/wards who have a child battling with addiction pls do not give up on your child. Put your pride aside cos it isn’t about you in that moment, it’s about saving the life of your loved one. Get medical help, Encourage them, Pray for them, Love & Care for them but most importantly do not judge them. Great work Maria this type of show is a breath of fresh air and a very nice concept. My suggestions are that you not constantly interrupt the speakers and also not rush them. I watched part 2 on tv and just came to drop my feedback here and the episode felt so rushed and You were constantly taking the words out of his mouth without letting him complete his sentences. It’ll also be nice if you or the celebrity guests give proper advice and encouragement not just wrap up the show like that. Overall it was a good watch thanks again and God bless David ❤️

Almost men just know how to impregnate their wives and take the glory when the kids are well to do. When the kids have one challenge or the other, they leave the children for their mothers. It now becomes “your son” or “your child”. Shoutout to David’s mum. God bless you ma cos some others might not have pushed as hard as you did. God is the ultimate! His mother was at his bed crying and praying to God for days, in her wrapper, begging God to rather take her life. See the miracle that took place after that? The addiction miraculously stopped.

Your mum is the hero here for never turning her back even at your worst moment. That’s how keen and loving mothers can be, Dads really do care but their emotions is never attached. That some dads need to work on.😢 Your savior is that man that never relent he made sure, you were taken care of. I'm so so happy David was one of the lucky few who was able to get clean. Addiction is a really strong sickness, worse when the addict relapses. I had someone who was addicted and I was as helpless as he because he suddenly disliked seeing me, hearing David narrate his ordeal has given me insight on why. I really hope we can be extremely more patient with addicts, they're truly helpless. Whether they relapse over and over and over, I pray we're patient enough to still want to help them and never withhold our love for them. Thank you for this Maria.

The intervention happened after he took the poison at the hospital when he didn't feel the urge to use and I would say his mother's prayer was the ONLY reason he didn't want to use and he could take that decision to go for therapy. Thank you Jesus for using David for your glory.
