The title is wrong. Ego does not die, otherwise, all enlightened people will cease to exist. Ego changes in quality, ego ceases to be a construction, this is what happens. It sounds strange to me that Telos misinforms people with bombastic titles. Well, everything changes and degenerates.

Ego death is another word for spiritual awakening in this context, it is only temporary, as shown in the video. I have not heard many examples of people who lost their ego permanently. Ego comes back after ”you” being in oneness for a certain period of time. So, I don’t say that ego death is permanent.

@@channeltelos Well, then, ego death is a wrong term, misleading. If you are awakened then feel free to change the expression and use for example: Ego weakening, ego partial dissolution. If ego death is temporary, then technically it is no death. Also, I ask you, personally. You say that the ego comes back after a period of time of being in oneness. I challenge the claim that "ego death" involves a complete obliteration of the self-awareness needed to recall such an experience. Then who is the one that registers and is aware of the oneness, and keeps memory of its nature? I recall vividly and in detail my awakening 32 years ago. All that said, do not stress please, these are just words, without any particular meaning, or influence in everyday life, inconsequential as farts.
