Great conversation. David inspires confidence which as a LSEG shareholder I am glad to see. Kudos for bringing up the messed up incentives of listing in the US due to execs paying themselves more. Some people really push that to the extremes and hence fail the fundamental integrity test from the start.

Regarding your interview with CEO of LSEG about differences between US/UK regarding salaries and culture regarding risk/reward. Shouldn't it be the LSEG board that sets the risk appetite if its a regulated entity? From the response it seems up to each individual/manager to approve eg compliance risks, environment risk, security risks

I love reading, I like to read all kinds of books, especially investment books. I have read a lot of books written by Mr Buffett who explained these investment theories. 😆 I feel that reading can really increase humand wisdom. I say: books are the ladder of human progress. Vivian Zhang
