Came across this gem while rekindling my musical relationship with David Soul. I have this original album, but was stuck on one or two particular tunes. This song is poignant and haunting. Very beautiful -This song has always been very personal to me-we married in 1979(still together)had daughter died of CF in 1982-we couldn't have more children but we had lots of furry kids-lots of nieces/nephews- but we always felt that we missed so much

Maybe it would sound better if sung like the original . Sorry but there were a few voices/ styles that ruined it for me. Most of those girls have amazing voices so it was possible
