I will say this much about Blanch, if she were still alive she would have told them to go do one. Wing nut is not interested in this country of ours, and so Keir and his mates know that they have a chance of being able to destroy the country even further, the last push.

Great content. With regard to Tony Blair - aka Thoroughly Modern Millie, for a lawyer he was the biggest dimwit on the block and most of what he he did needs to be undone especially that daft idea of us having a 'Supreme Court'. It should be abolished and returned to the Law Lords.

I think some further tweaking and bringing up to date is required though. The House of Cronies is an embarrassment now.
@foundationofBritain
@foundationofBritain 8 ай бұрын
First, a restoration of proper Parliamentary function, then tweaking and bringing up to date, that's what's required. The House of Cronies is a result of Asquith's stripping of most of the political power's of the Lords, in a nutshell, stripping the Hose of Lords of the power to veto is what did it. If he had kept the Lords veto power then New Labour would have lacked much ability to remove the judicial function of the House of Lords, which is what the proper function the upper House really is. The House of Commons = Legislative The House of Lords = Judicial The Crown = Executive Three bodies... one properly functioning Parliament... the power of three.
@markmh835
@markmh835 8 ай бұрын
@@foundationofBritain-- That is simplistic in the extreme. The role of the House of Peers was never solely judicial. Likewise, the Crown as holding "Executive power" is entirely symbolic and ceremonial. In fact, Executive power is exercised by the Prime Minister and Members of Parliament in Government (in the Cabinet), thereby mixing legislative and executive operations. Perhaps that is the biggest flaw in the so-called British Constitution.

Dr Starkey: During my own trial in 1993 (for returning from France with some heterosexually-explicit cartoon comix), and after I had returned to France, bought the same comix, and was permitted to enter the Country with them following 'declaration') I remember the Judge asking Prosecution Counsel, "Can you tell me who, ABOVE PARLIAMENT, has the right to grant a 'legal toleration' on a lesser number of these publications?" The answer given was, "Your Honour; the two Home Secretaries previously" I subpoenaed those "two Home Secretaries previously" (Lord Waddington & Sir Kenneth Baker) to the Court of Appeal: but Baroness Blatch confirmed that the answer to the Judge had been a LIE. Nevertheless I lost my Appeal.

The British (English) constitution manages to be both stable, and yet amenable to change. It allows for maximum flexibility (so accommodating the whims of any generation) and also to have a foundation (the linkage of crown, legislator, and elector) that binds the nation across time. We should be proud, but also defensive of it in these testing times. The Lib Dem's desire to form a written constitution (of course centred on their preferred ideology) shows the short-sightedness of the party, and unfortunately New Labour is much the same. Even more unfortunately, neoliberals (who dominate the so called Conservative party) are also much the same. In the face of a lack of any English Parliamentary party or widespread political movement to defend the legal, political, and regal foundations of this nation with a sophisticated understanding of it, I advise spreading the message on the ground. An aside: I think the nation changed far more from 1910 to 1965, than 1965 to 2020, I highly urge people to not blame the degradation of this nation's constitution on immigration. However, if not actively altered I believe the constitution is strong enough to not only withstand this new era, but make a success out of it, and that the vast majority of immigrants and their descendants respect its foundation as well.

@benjaminwinchester3408 Are you serious? The vast majority of immigrants could not care less about this country's constitution. Most of them are more interested in implementing their backwards Sharia law, not only on themselves, but on the entire country. If you can't blame this country's demise on mass immigration, then what can you blame it on. Perhaps, a total absence of having a sense of nationhood and no more respect for Christianity and family values. If fact, the indigenous people of this country are expected to hate their culture, their heritage, and their history. They are expected to grovel and be apologetic of this country's glorious history. This "new era", as you call it, is taking this country straight to the pits of hell. 🔥🔥🔥

The major problem with the vast majority of immigrants and their descendants is that there was nether any push nor willingness to nativise, (ethno-religious-cultural absorption by the native population), these people by the Parliament of the day... which has resulted in Islamic terrorism, race riots, calls of diversity and equity and inclusion and tolerance of those who side with the enemies of our Nation of England. I don't blame immigrants and their descendants, their just foreigners, there just different, there in England for their own reasons and all that is politics is personal, immigration is a problem in that of numbers but most of all the importation of foreign peoples manners, customs, cultures, traditions, liberties & privileges, institutions, religions, laws and languages... again, I don't blame immigrants and their descendants they have little connection, interest and deep sentimental attachment to, for them, is basically foreign, to us English, is native... I mean their foreign peoples, why would they. I blame those natives (Englishmen & Welshmen, Scotsmen & Irishmen) whom had, indeed, have the power to have stopped or indeed, not done this at all, both on the degradation of this nation's constitution and on mass immigration, indeed the mismanaging of immigration full stop... tis these xenophilius, treacherous, bureaucratic foemen and their ilk... is where I put blame upon.

@@mikegalvin9801 Well, they could of extended the franchise to women on the same basis as they did with men and not gone for universal suffrage like they did. The Chartists left out women, this is true, yet they also left out everyone who, wasn't at least 21 of age, was serving a criminal sentence or were Aliens... I think it was a good start to a voting franchise, we can debate about women till they come home, yet the rest should just never have the franchise.

It was disastrous for Britain when Asquith stripped the Lords of most of their political power. A Parliament should be balanced & bicameral. If the Lords had kept their veto power, they could have stopped the mischief that happened later on.

But The Lord's are not representative of the People. That is the crux of the matter. Inherited power -- privilege by birth -- is incompatible with a modern democracy.

Bringing an old song up to date. A marching song of the Mew Model Army March, march army of saints! March in good order where culverin rattle. March, march conscience of parliament, Hold your great fast in the height of the battle. Scourging deperacy, Xenophilius foemen, Roughman at arm, it’s in God’s name shall fight. Englexit tradesmen and Anglo-nationalist yeomen, Sustain me, my Father by righteousness’ Armor. March, march blessed ragamuffins, Sing as ye go, the hymns of rejoicing. March, march justified ruffians, Chosen of Heaven to glory arising. Humbled implacable strong in your faith, Marching invincible into God’s grace! Red coated prophets, you new models come! With the fire of the right to bring England to order. March, march, army of saints! Onward with sound through the push of the fight now. March, march, host of the righteous. It’s triumph or martyrdom, so it is your right now. Rustic commoners become traditionalists. Mine cresting trumpeters to the ranks come. City dwellers and Rural yokels, unite with intention Gomorrah to devour. March, march shot-sorted midwives, For God’s new Millennium, born in its glory. March, march, pike-staff agents. To purge England’s ills and then to our glory. Marching in ranks to the gospel’s command. Marching for commonwealth, God, and the land! Red coated prophets, you new models comes. With the fire of the right to bring England to order.

The point of universal suffrage is that each individual can vote for their own interests alone. Therefore, even a stupid person who knows nothing does know what they want and as a citizen is entitled to vote for it. Suffrage is not a collective duty aimed at the total social good.
