It's amazing how much the league grew once he became commissioner. If you watch the league in the 70's then watch the 80's you can see just how much it changed. What a great era of basketball it's been the last 30 to 40 years.

He never said much but there was always a comedic vagueness to the way he answered questions where he could make you feel involved while giving you nothing at all.
