I hate these people who criticize about him owning houses, having children etc. He can sit back and have a relaxing retirement on the beach Christ sake. He is closer to death than many of us. He doesn't have to care about where the earth goes, how the next generation lives. Instead, he choose to advocate for the our generation, our future earth. He can be going on a shopping spree on Amazon everyday for Christ sake, he can own many Lamborghinis like other unethical billionaires out there. Go criticize them if you have free time to come to listen to David Suzuki's presentation and decide to write negative thing about him.

I watch this man as I have watched this man for years and years. Tears flow down my face as he says what he has always said. Can’t believe he can bear to keep telling the world the same thing and they never listen. David to me you have always been my hero, always will be. I farm in Australia over forty years and now the world is experiencing the weather we endure always. Welcome to my world.

! I hope if he decides to go and blow up a line or incites others to do so it turns out to be the one that heats his multi million dollar mansion. If you or I started advocating for the blowing up of pipelines the cops would be knocking on our doors, or maybe even kicking them in, but not Suzuki. He is pathetic, also happens to have close ties with Turdeau, what a coincidence.

Mother Earth does not promise us anything including pristine clean air. Volcanoes, wild fires, natural gas eruptions are all part of the deal. People can help to keep the environment tidy, but sun spots and a slight shift in the earth's axis will cause climate changes. I'd rather have temperatures rise than drop, and where do you get the average global temp from? It varies even from areas in one small region. A deep valley will be cooler than a hilltop. I applaud green tech, but we are NOT even close to powering cities or even cement/steel factories with wind/solar, and where do you put wind turbine arms and solar panels when they die? Yep, big graveyards in the earth. Pipelines are much safer and efficient than hauling oil/gas by rail or truck, and face it, we still need these natural resources for energy.

Do you realize that you and everyone you care about have increasing risk of dying from either starvation (most likely), heat/cold exposure, drowning, violence, or suicide with every increase in atmospheric CO2 concentration?
@musicspinner

@Rose Anne Boushard Rose Anne, I've seen the data. I understand what it means. Even in best case scenarios we're on track to see the utter collapse of civilization as we know it. Unless there is some radical breakthrough (e.g. benign AGI) we're ALL in for one hell of a rough time this century. You can look at the data and read the papers or watch the scientists present their work yourself. They're not making this $hit up.

@@musicspinner All living things are built of carbon that comes from CO2. An increase in essential CO2 in the atmosphere will be a huge benefit to plants and agriculture. Satellite measurements show that the increase of CO2 over the last few decades has already caused a pronounced greening of the planet - especially in arid regions. For tens of millions of years, plants have been coping with a “CO2 famine.” Current CO2 concentrations of a few hundred parts per million (ppm) are close to starvation levels compared to the several thousand ppm that prevailed over most of history. Also read about MOXEY . It is a system the takes CO2 and isolates the Oxygen molecule from the carbon and pairs it with the other oxygen molecule producing ......oxygen . They are testing it on Mars as we speak but nary a word from the media or our enlightened scientifically based environmentalist whom is never emotionally driven .
