David Tennant's Very First TV Acting Role.

When on Ready Steady Cook, Sandy McDonald, David's dad, said that his first proper TV acting performance was for an anti-smoking programme - my PSE class watched said anti-smoking programme a few years ago && since I'm leaving school in a few months, I couldn't leave without getting a hold of it!
so, we made it into the scottish sun. booom.

+Tennant Girl It's not just the accents, it's also hard to understand because the sound quality of the video isn't the greatest, since it's an old recording. Plus, they use a lot of slang that people might not be familiar with.

@@rosewho9426 Scotland didn't have enough money to have TV until the 80's. This anti-smoking commercial was made with their first studio and even though they had enough money to make it, that didn't stop their equipment from being really cheap (including sound effects).

I really liked the neo-noir type feeling the show had, and how dark and gritty it got, I personally rank it right up there with Netflixs Daredevil, another fantastic television show.
