Wasn't he just saying that it was bit silly to like Doctor Who as an adult, and imposing an adult way of watching the show, as it is is made for children. I don't think he dislikes Doctor Who, but don't follow it closely. He was a fan at young age that's for sure. And at this point there had only been one series with Christopher Eccleston, so the show hadn't rooted its way that much yet, perhaps? But fair point, Adam.
