David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.

Better understand Christ correctly and where He is to have a relationship with Him. David just quoted 1 john 1:6 without understanding darkness and light i.e. Christ. 1 John 1:7 says where He is. Psalm 97:11 says how righteousness is reaped. Better be asking what light and how to sow it. "The Lord is my light and my salvation" can not be separated. The glory of the incorruptible God is the tent of meeting, the 3rd temple without walls. Psalm 104:2

I really miss David Wilkerson. We need so many more preachers like him. Nikki Cruz was a gang leader in NYC that got saved under David Wilkerson. I went to a church service one night and there was a man who was in gangs in NYC who got saved under Nikki Cruz ministry. He came from another state to preach at a small Assembly of God. That night I got saved. It was May 17 1979. His message was taylor made for me, and I know it was a devine appointment. Quess thats why Davids ministry is so special to me. Lly

I just cried my eyes out. I do pray every day but I’m still screwing up… I cried and asked for understanding, I told him how scary this was for me to hear, how confronting it is, i was honest and said I felt upset and a little angry and I wasn’t sure if it was at him or the people I know who are like warm, I prayed for him to help me know how to draw him in close… I prayed and sobbed and thought of how few were being marked and the torment that will be felt by so many many people who thought they were safe and weren’t. This is utterly terrifying to hear. So Many people many people will walk by unmarked. Oh jesus my savior help me understand what to do better. Help me hear you help me draw close. The HolySpirit lets us know if we are His. Do you know that you are saved? When we true believers have been saved by Jesus Christ The Lord! He has promised that He would give us a Comforter, the HolySpirit who lives and indwells within us. Yes, Jesus lives in us. Jesus has given us new life. Jesus has redeemed us from our sins. He has cleansed us from all unrighteousness. We are covered by His blood that was shed on Calvery. There are false christians, meaning they are not truly saved. They do not have a personal relationship with Jesus. They have not become a new creature in Christ. They have not been genuinely born-again. Only Jesus can give peace in a soul. There is nothing like the peace of God. I love the scripture in John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. We are to fear the Lord. He is a Great God! We love Him because He first loved us. We are to love him with all of our hearts, souls, and minds. We are to get alone with God and seek Him. Read His Word. I ask Him to make His Word alive to me. Breathe life into my soul. Sing to Him and give Praises to Him and give him Glory due unto His Name. I ask Him to let me feel His Presence. I ask Him to come and minister to me. I ask him to help me to be ready to listen for when he speaks. I ask to help keep me humble. The Lord is teaching me that I must get alone with him and talk to him and call upon him. I am also leaning that Jesus is teaching me to keep praying, praying, and praying until He comes. He will come on His timing and not my timing. And I love it when He comes unexpectedly! Jesus, my Saviour, my Friend will never leave me nor forsake me. If he hasn't come yet, and death I must face. I do not have to fear because Jesus will be with me each step of the way. And when I close my eyes, It will glorious, breathtaking and amazing, finally seeing my Lord. I AM A CHILD OF THE KING! HALLELUJAH! AND AMEN! JESUS IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!

Do you not believe there will be people who will miss it that desire to honor and obey God. Every real Christians that loves God desires to honor and obey Him. But yet there will be many who will not make it. I believe there will be a few things that will stop Christians from making it. No. 1 No fellowship. How many Christians know God not just know about Him? How long has it been sense you have spent hours waiting before God just to fellowship with him. Not just praying but fellowship? no. 2. Neglect. How many Christians Neglect the house of God, Prayer, reading and studying Gods word? How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation. no. 3. Unbelief. How many believes for God to answer their prayer when they pray i mean really believe? I found as a Christian that most of the time its not our faith most of the time why God answered our prayers but because of His love and concern for us He answers. Do you know how to tell if a Church is full of unbelief? They stay home sick instead of going to church doing what Gods word says calling for the elders of the church have them to anoint the person with oil pray the prayer of faith and believe the Lord will raise them up. Why do most Christians stay home even with a cold? no. 4. Lukewarm. Jesus said I have somewhat against you because you lost your first love. Today for the most part Church dont mean to much to Christians anymore does it? They lay out of Church all the time. They have no love for Church and why should God let people come to Heaven when they dont love His house here on earth. 5. No love for their brothers and sisters in Christ. faith worketh by love. 1 cor. 13 teaches us about how love acts. Now how many Christians live that love walk? Sorry to say but Christians stuff have them what they own means to much to them. Me a minister I ask some Christians that could have help me and my daughter with food at one time. These where suppose to be my friends brothers and sisters i go to Church with. You know what they did for me and my daughter? Nothing. Had it not been for God that supplied the need me and my daughter could had went hungry. I had a drunk come to my door and knock and said to me can i have something to eat. I said yes come in. i fixed him something to eat and then i fixed him a bed to lay on to sleep thru the night then the morning came i took him where he needed to go and i told him if you are ever hunger come to my place ill fix you something don't go hungry. Have you done that for anyone not family but someone on the street? Jesus said as much as ye did it to the lest these my brethren ye did it to me. A lady came to my house not family i said come in she set down started looking around and said you have some nice stuff. She was a poor lady went to Church didnt hardly have anything in her apartment. I said to her do you see anything you would like to have in my apartment if so ill load it up in the truck and take it to your apartment. She never ask for anything. But God knows had she ask i would have given it to her. We became friends and i help her as i could. Have you did that for anyone outside of Family? Most Christians don't believe Christ could return any time do they. If they did why does their stuff mean so much to them. Why wont they help someone in need. Why don't Christians pray more than they ever prayed and fast and read Gods word more than they ever have if they believe He could return any time? Are you sure you're Marked you're part of the Remnant? How do you know for sure? Don't every Christian believe they are Marked and part of the Remnant? Im afraid the church isnt ready for the coming of the Lord. To many selfish Christians. The Church walks so far away from the love of Christ its scary. So tell me about your love walk. How have you prove your love to the world and to your brother and sisters in Christ and to the lord? Just asking

After listening to Wilkerson’s sermon I got somewhat depressed. I felt like there was no hope for anyone - how can people be saved? I know God is just and merciful but I didn’t get that vibe from the pastor this time. I wish I could be perfect and be completely spot free but I can’t do that on my own, I need Jesus! The pastor caused me to feel hopeless in the eyes of Jesus. What am I to pray for if we’re all gonna die was the emotions I was feeling. 😢 I prayed about it and the Holy Spirit brought to my attention of pastors who believe Ezekiel is talking about Israel. There will be a remnant saved in Israel. And as I understood 2/3’s of Israel will be killed. And as I understand we are under the Gospel of Grace according to Paul’s Ministry. Any thoughts?

Please go read Galatians, Paul emphatically tells and warns that this works doctrine is accursed. Good works naturally flow from a true believer, those are the works that God has made for us to walk in, not this sniffeling.

Pastor Wilkerson's ministry is pointed to very rich and successful, even powerful people in New York. God's challenge to them is often almost chiding. Yet, God can speak to all of us through this kind of preaching. We can all stand to hear this kind of challenge from God. The Blood of Jesus sets us free to worship the Father in Spirit and Truth, but the Father is a raging fire of perfection, even beyond our eternal decision for Christ, because all God has for us is perfection. That said, we do not lose the salvation which we receive through Christ, even if the rich and powerful tempt God, sometimes. I thank Pastor Wilkerson for his dedication to God's work in New York and for God's work which challenges us to live the refined and fruitful life in Christ which God has for us. If anyone lacks any kind of confidence with God, please, remember, we always have prayer in the name of Jesus. God answers every prayer prayed in the name of Jesus!

You just let the connection that a certain light is the fountain of life fly right over your tapping fingers quoting words words words. The only Word is in the light. 1 john 1:7. Abide in that light to have Him abide in you. Want more? John 8:12. How do you know you've left the darkness if you dont know to abide in the light of life? Don't continue to get cause and result backwards. Saying words is not the cause of the follow. Abiding in the light of life causes the follow. There's lots more ignored understandings of light.

God did not commission him, nor all pastors in protestant churches. Our Lord commissioned the Apostles and their successors, priests, to teach the Gospels and baptize those who believe their teachings (Mark 16:16, Matt 28:20) for their salvation. Whoever does not believe their teachings will not be saved. Since protestant churches reject the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church and Her teachings, all those who follow their false teachings are in danger of losing their eternal salvation. Why follow wolves in sheep's clothing and risk your eternal salvation? Come quickly to Our Lord's Only Sheepfold (John 10:16), His Church, the pillar and foundation of the Truth (1 Tim 3:15), before it is too late, so that you may hear His Voice, follow Him, and gain the eternal life (John 10:27-28). Christ took all of our (the Body of Christ Church) judgment. You can not have judgment during a Dispensation of Grace. That's why so many evil people get away with so many evil things: it's a Dispensation of Grace. I feel like I won't make it to heaven either. I excepted Christ. I was baptized. God has done things for me and I know positively that it was Him! But, I am still stuck in this world. I still get angry very quickly and if the situation presents itself, I fight. Then the most problem.i have is sexual sin. Private sexual sin. Sexual thoughts. Sexual acts that I could never speak on because it would be beyond belief. These sins hurt me, yet I still do it. I can literally feel the discomfort in my stomach and in my heart. It makes me sad. I burst out in sporadic crying. Yet, me knowing that it is 1000% wrong, I still do it! I still go to it! I still indulge myself in these private acts. There's times that right afterwards, whilst I'm in the shower, I start crying so deeply. How can something that is so incredibly wrong and sinful continue on if I am supposed to be saved. I am a true sinner!!!! Thank you for listening. Please forgive me!

Yes, love covers a multitude of sins, but this sermon preaches TRUTH proven in scripture. Never before heard a sermon from Leviticus, Ezekiel and Jeremiah with scriptures given so clearly. Praise God for repentance and examination of our lives. Many are deceived and "are of the world and its lusts thereof." This sermon caused me to search my heart.
