Congratulations @alexlandy8073, you are the winner. Please contact me via email at david@adamsenwoodcraft.com to share your details and claim your prize. I am sweetening the deal with an actual piece of woodturning, not just the splatter, which of course, you can decline or accept if you wish. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience. I will wait 7 days from today, so midnight on 8/10 is your deadline. Cheers!

As you so often do, amazing piece. A gentle curved shape broken by the voids, really well done. Really liked the layering of color with the epoxy to stabilize was great, gives such depth. Personally I liked the natural grain on the inside, but the flat black does a great job enhancing both the voids and keeping the eye on the outside shape.

First I didn't understand why applying a layer of color to the piece and then removing it by turning over it. Then the result began to appear, and I realized it was genius: the various successive colors that have penetrated unevenly into the wood according to its density and inclusions give it unequalled color and volume. Well done! Beautiful video again.

Gosh. That was a beautiful piece of work. When you first turned it on the lathe, the red resin made it look like a fat man's hacked leg. When you hollowed it out the editing was spectacular to watch and I half expected it to break apart, but it turned out beautiful as if something special had hatched out of it, maybe a dinosaur. Fantastic.
