"Set it free", are you kidding, he killed those poor indigenous insurgent worms LOL. That is a piece of art, even though it's a modern crafted piece using modern tools, electricity, motors, machines and all clearly it takes a real eye to see a thing's potential & real skill to bring it out, I applaud you. I haven't gotten around to reading all of the comments but someone ( @fastjazz ) four months ago stated it took 60 hours, I'm not sure if he learned that by watching the video or maybe you mentioned it in a comment but of course 60 hrs x $100 per hour would be $6,000 or if it's $50 per hour then half, $3,000 for it, but then again I'm sure art isn't exactly priced like this, have you sold it, what would you sell it for "if" you were to sell it or another way to look at it, for how much would you have made it for someone if they had brought you that chunk of wood?

That is undoubtedly the best wood-turning video I've seen (and I've seen a lot). I particularly appreciate the fact that it is properly edited with a minimum use of sped-up sections, which I always regard as unprofessional and an all-too-common aspect of KZbin content. 😁 This "Desert Landscape Vase" reminds me of the images seen from the International Space Station. I haven't done any real wood turning work since the early 1970's, but the soothing sound of tool on wood reminds me of the tranquility enjoyed while smelling the aroma of the wood. There was another KZbin woodturner I used to watch; then he started "talking" through the video. That ruined the relaxation of watching the emerging of the finished product. I feel so at ease after these videos because it reminds me of the harmony of artistic creativity. Thank you!
