I learned this from Dan Crary's "Lady's Fancy" album. A very bluesy version by Byron on mandolin. It took a long time to play it clean and that third section held me back for a long time! Cheers, David.

Great execution, fat tone. I really like your playing... Thanks for the tune. This tune brings back memories. I bought Dan Crary's Lady's Fancy album in the late 1970's and listened to it a lot... Over the years, I've seen the album appear in lists like "10 Worst Album Cover Pictures" but there is plenty of good music on this record. Vince Gill on mandolin and dobro. The New Grass Revival members, Courtney Johnson, Sam Bush on mandolin, Curtis Burch, John Cowan. Byron Berline, John Hickman... Massive talent line-up. Anyway, great job, David...

I think it's actually Sam on the mandolin...

@@JanJohanssonmusic On that track I believe it is Byron on mandolin. It doesn't sound like Sam to me.

I got to sit next to this fantastic mandolinist in the Ger Mandolin Orchestra!
one finger of the left-hand frets two strings. How is this technique done? I cannot seem to manage this trick. Then the four-finger stretch chord. All I get are dead, sour notes. What is the trick here?
