I'm pleased you are finding these video's useful. I never intended to make so many, just that the user manual (for whatever reason) never got written for the new version and I felt that was a real shame considering all the cool new features that were added. And since then... just kept going really.

Thank you, David. I understand now, changing Fov to 120 and the Scale to 100. is making everything easier.

How can I find objects that I know are out of the main view? Can I get a list of all the objects in the scene, in view or not? Thanks.

Yes, there are a variety of ways to achieve this. If you look in the bottom right corner of the Bryce window you will find a white gridded circle. That switches between the selection and the animation tools. The small icons similar to the create shelf allow selections of all of a type. The pink white green box for selection of family. The little downward pointing arrow are the lists of objects by name and type (this can get a bit unwieldy in complex scenes) and the arrow buttons next to the green blob in the middle allow you to cycle through object types selecting the first in their class and then the outermost arrows can be used to cycle through each selection in that class. Finally the green blob clicks to red to solo the selection. Tooltips appear in the bottom left hand corner of the window when you mouseover these funny little icons - hopefully that helps!

If you look at the icons across the bottom of the main view and hover over each, you will see what type of primitive each allows you to select. Click on one that is of a type you have in your scene, and you will see how many of that type of primitive you have. Click on one of the list items and it will select the object that has that designation. Say you have several cubes. Go to the Cube icon under the work window and click on it, You will see how many cubes are in your scene, and can select any by clicking on it. If you want to select more than one, hold down CTRL and click on each cube you wish to include in your selection. To the right of the Object icons are the Lights icons, and they work in the same way. There is another icon to the right of the Lights icon, which works a bit different, but if you read what is popped up, it will tell you what you can select with it, including any cameras you have.

How are you switching between the rendered view and the wireframe view? I always have to move the camera just enough to kick it back, but that makes me lose camera position. What's the trick for going back to wireframe from a rendered image?

great video, i just had a thought about objects that go under the infinite plane ....wouldn't it be interesting if each part of the object/terrain that is moved under the plane changed color, while what is above remains the same :) ....just an idea!

This can be done in the render, using altitude filtering, but in the wireframe, short of re-programming - I don't know of any way this could be achieved. There are the Open GL modes which work slightly differently, but I've never got into the use of those.

I take it that Bryce is not similar to Roblox in that respect? Bearing in mind, I don't have any knowledge of Roblox's camera controls.
