tim bateman Good. This "simple" well, "simpler" approach can be tinkered with to offer more variants, figures provide are a starting point but of course don't feel compelled to stick to those values, experimentation is often more rewarding as I am sure you are aware.

Don't know why I did not see this one earlier, as I am subscribed to your channel. KZbin foibles, maybe? Who knows? LOL A great tutorial, and I will be sharing it with friends online. Also gonna give this a go ASAP!

KZbin randomness. Who can say? Anyway, I hope you can follow it OK.

My friend, yours are the best tutorials for Bryce I have seen, so I don't anticipate any troubles. If some arise, I know you are good about answering questions when you can.

Thank you, I do what I can.

Hi David thank you, my clouds are looking ok but making them not a lot is showing in my view so hopefully that will help
@davidbrinnen9 жыл бұрын
Angie Marie Alternatively, lift up the cloud. World space scale is absolute so you can get more in by lifting it up and enlarging it. Or... chance the scale in the material options from 0.1 to 0.2 or higher. This will pack more clouds into a smaller volume.

David Brinnen Thank you David will give that a try, have saved the clouds I made, it's something have stuggled to do so thank you for the tutorial and the help

I followed all instructions but everything is pure white. White from the top, white from the side, white from the perspective. Is it a bug or did I forget something? I kept going anyway and changed phase on the combination and now everything is blue.

Tricky to know without more information. But as an opening guess I'd suggest that perhaps the colour channel in the DTE for that component was not enabled. If you like you can email me source file (BR5) and I will take a look at it. Mail AT Davidbrinnen DOT co DOT uk - if you can understand that?

Thanks David but I'm going to start this over from the beginning. You go fast sometimes and I have to rewind. Maybe I missed something rewinding. I'll finish watching the whole thing. I stopped to watch your video on remixing pro materials.

@@Remember_when Aye, to be fair, this one of the more difficult things to achieve with the DTE, not necessarily because it is hard to understand but given the fine tolerances involved the interface is does make it somewhat fiddly. That being said, do check that the correct selection of component channels are enabled/disabled otherwise that can have a profound result on the output.

@@davidbrinnen I'm also using Bryce 7.1. I'm at 3:29 right now and my actual view is showing some blue in it were yours is all white. Even if I can't get it right at least I'll have a better understanding of the deep texture editor. Horo has been helpful too at Daz 3D and his website is excellent too. Drop in if you get a chance, we have a great abstract thread going. Say 'hi'. Edit: I didn't realize that scale should be at .1. That may be the problem.

@@Remember_when Without seeing what you are seeing then it is difficult to offer exact guidance. So you can send me the BR5 and I can pick over that. Given the time stamp I - then that will help also in unpicking the issue. My time, should be spent productively making models, but honestly, I spend way too much time, now we are entirely "locked down" in then UK, a) drinking, b) following politics and c) playing various types of games. My problem is that there are just too many things I am interested in - a blessing - what's boredom? The curse - I am always distracted. Horo is far more focused than I, me... I can too easily drift off the topic without even knowing I'd done so.
