I've been learning from you since shit whenever you became public knowledge. I'm 36 year old male Army combat veteran from Massachusetts and you've always been a mentor to me. I appreciate everything YOU do for the school , the online store, your teaching youtube vids and training fantastic instructors who have now taken youtube vids to another level. This all goes back to you and your family. So HAPPY NEWS YEARS TO YOU ANS YOURS. Thank you Sir.

I vacuum seal dehydrated potatoes that are extremely easy to pack, use, and are light weight in a go bag but when camping, nothing beats whole potatoes on the fire.

You are still producing great, fresh content after all of these years. Nothing like hot potato soup on a cold day. Thanks for what you do Dave. Happy New Year.

Good looking soup. I would use dried potatoes as well instead of corn starch

Dave you are the backwoods, culinary master! I've followed your cooking series, and your bush pot systems make it super simple to "pack light," and eat good out in the woods. Obviously your craft, is your business, and you've developed equipment, for said craft, and business. You're a smart business man and outdoor expert!! Keep up the great work! I have not a single issue supporting your business, and your channel. ✌️

Having you around Dave, there's no way people can ever go hungry. Thanks for showing us your wise teachings throughout the years. I don't like watching the cooking channel but i sure like watching your survival cooking craftsmanship. Happy New Year! God Bless you and your family with good health 🙏

I like your oven with rack using the bush pot. A lot of times I "measure" the spices in the cap of the spice bottle.

Dave teaches so many aspects of bushcraft. I started at survival and realized survival is when something in my trip into nature has gone bad. Bushcraft is connecting to nature. Dave seems to be a guy who does his best to help others get connected to nature.

One of the things that has been a constant for me the last 6 years, have been your videos. And when People are beeing difficult, work is beeing a nightmare and now the Pandemic out to get us, i come here and am able to completely tune out all of that nastyness, enjoy your calming voice, pack my bags and get exited for the next day out! Thank you so much for your common man, common sense, super down to earth videos! You are like my Bushcraft Father! And that is a compliment i dont hand out lightly. (cause my real dad is awesome

Happy new year to you and your family! Thank you for all the thing i have learned from you. You are a awesome man, Dave! Thanks to you, Corporal and grey bearded green beret i have been able to go into the Norwegian wilderness and appreciate all its glory as a proud bushcrafter on wheels. I broke my back in a car accident 13 years ago and until i saw one of my big hero Corporal Kelly`s videos were he build a raised bed i packed up my Polaris atv, tied on my wheelchair and had my best weekend since i was in the accident. You and your instructors have made my life so much better! Thank you so much! Best wishes from a fan and “KZbin-student” from Norway. Kenneth

Great video! A very simple solution to thickening up your soup without having to reduce volume with heat is to add a couple tablespoons of instant potatoes.

You're the "Man" mate. We watch all your instructor's vids and it's very educational. Like we told the Major, with the current situation & pandemic, there's no chance of any of us doing the Pathfinders Courses so we follow them to Look, Listen & Learn from the best. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe through 2022. Greetings from Christmas Island.
