Thank you. I never even knew the word decoction existed before this. Excellent instruction.

Really liking this series. I know it's probably too time consuming however, it would have been great to actually see you process the plants you spoke of in this series to show how to make concoctions etc. It's great to get the knowledge and see the entire process as you did in this video and the goldenrod video. It's helpful to show the identification, history, preparation and use of plants or trees for medicinal purposes. Thanks for your time and sharing this great knowledge.

Crazy thing I have found is that most all vines grow around the trees in a clockwise fashion.. It makes me wonder if vines in say Australia grow counter clockwise? The "Materia Medica" series is a Great series of videos, VERY informative and useful. ✊

Hey Dave I have heard you mention before about drying and storing theses as more of a long term solution. Can all of these plants be dried and stored and keep there properties or just select ones?
@mangosquirrel1178 жыл бұрын
if you dried out the wood shavings would they loose their potency or could you store them for later use

Thank you for the wealth of knowledge you share! I have a question. Is there a specific species we should look for.. Or do all dogwood have this diaphretic action? I have a dogwood with white, starlike flowers is why I'm asking :)

so, because this will raise your core temp, would it be a wise-ish idea to drink it in cold weather to better combat convection? Or would that be the height of idiocy?
