I hope this guy is aware that he's playing the song better than Francesco himself... This is almost flawless and Francesco always says that he always breaks the song down in really small pieces in the studio and does loads of retries, while this guy who has maybe done some retries but still manages to pull off the whole song... I'm stunned.

@Procyon5810 жыл бұрын
As I said at the previous post. He obviously had time and opportunity to play drums. He could play many hours in a day and he did. My point is: not everybody have the opportunity to play that much.
@Toenail8310 жыл бұрын
Bora Kaplan You make time. I do know what you mean though, but I'm in school for engineering you want to talk about time constraints. My guitars and drums have just been a "nice touch to the room" that collect dust. I have played my guitars and drums very rarely, so they just collect dust, but I make time when I can. So if you are going to school for engineering and working then it's understandable, but else wise make time; you sleep when your dead.

+StringedBeast Then you haven't heard a whole lot then. The only thing impressive about this is the speed and stamina of the song. The drumming itself is relatively simple with lots of double bass, blast beats and simple fills. It's not very complex
@kingbrutusxxvi7 жыл бұрын
FutileExistence - With all due respect, I started playing drums in 1979 (yeah, I'm that old) and the only thing impressive about any percussion part is the fastest speed at which you can play it cleanly. There hasn't been a drum part written that is impressive at 2 bpm so, while I agree at half speed this might not be that complicated, at this speed it's pretty fucking awesome. Just my two cents.

I’ve watched this so many times in 5 years, it’s easily the best drum cover on KZbin. The drum patterns on this song are just fucking godly to begin with, and you do them so perfectly. Paoli’s parts for this song are so full of accents and changes that the drums are like a song of their own even underneath the other 5 instruments and layers on top of it. I would just listen to the drums on this song if I could and be just as satisfied as listening to the full song cause there’s so much content there. God damn it.

Forky Forklift I know what you mean. This skill level open many doors, but close some others. Personally, i really don't want to push my technique by this way because i don't want to become like Thomas Lang or Mike Mangini. I my opignon, there is a technical limit between speed and musicality and i don't want to pass over this limit. I prefer technic like Jojo Mayer, Chris Dave, Colayuta or Quest Love.
