he's making sure to be able to do this in the years to come - you sit wrongly - you strain your back or some other parts of your body. Posture is fundamental for sustaining stamina imo.

mooncountry1017 they do it when blast beats are faster than 270 ish bpm, because after that point it becomes impossible to sustain 8th notes with a single hand the whole time

@@MK-oz2lf it's done at extreme speeds to keep the snare consistent in traditional blasts that use either half note or quarter note cymbal pulses once you're over 260 bpm. In a live setting it also looks flashy while conserving energy. There's also the Dirk blast that can be used as well if you take away the accented notes with usually in it and only use cymbals every 4 snare hits. Spencer from archspire uses it a lot

that was awesome. I've been out of touch with cattle decapitation for a while, those semi-clean vocals took me by surprise. I love your variation on the swivel with the feet (whether on purpose or not). the slow back and forth from side to side, to spread the work between different muscles, makes way more sense than putting so much energy into the side to side motion.

The Bass Drum beats are so fast they seem to be producing a frequency which should equal a note. Does anybody know what frequency the feet are going? From there we should be able to figure what note it is producing being that 440HZ equals an "A"

That's pretty amazing. It makes you wonder if they make bass drum pedals that are either very light or the beater is very close to the skin of the bass drum that allows you to make quick beats.

they're actually heavier most of the time, because you get more power out of it and you don't have to put work in getting it up again. And you need to keep the beaters close yourself, because they are usually at mid-distance from the drum
