Psalm 103 - Bless the LORD, O My Soul

Psalm 103 is a psalm written by David. We don’t know the circumstances in which it was written, but since David was a man who knew the grace and deliverance of God many times, it could have been written at many different times of his life.
Pastor David Guzik walks us through reasons to bless and honor God and contrasts that display the greatness of God shown throughout this psalm.

Thank you David for explaining this Psalm. I thank God for His goodness & His lovingkindness towards us . At this time 5-12-2022 in our country when leaders ,& many people are determined to murder babies & destroy the children in education I do not understand how God can look at it . He hates our sin but loves , my prayer is that God will help us get back to being people that fear Him !! 🙏❤️

I love the verses where David talks to his soul, lol. It reminds me to tell my soul the same things. For those who love the Psalms, you will be so blessed to listen to a group called, "Sons of Korah." They are true, real musicians; and you will know the difference in their praise from the silly music of today's "Christian" music. They bring the Psalms to music in beautiful respectful, praising manner and it will get into your mind and heart. It's as if you've memorized the Psalms without trying! Music is so wonderful; I wonder if this was one of its purposes when God created it! P.S. you can find many videos of theirs on KZbin as well
