Same! Either I’d never read those chapters before or I never grasped them until about 3 years ago. And I thought, why have I never known about Stephen?! His story and faith is so powerful and the first martyr. How did I not know that?

I’m so glad you mentioned that about the proper posture. I’m not able to pray on my knees much anymore and for a while, I felt bad about sitting through my prayers. But perhaps the confusion is why some churches have a lot of repetitive sit, stand, kneel. Lol

We should thank Stephen for bringing the greatest ambassador for Christ through Paul, by his final prayer.

I like to imagine that Paul (Saul) had to be close to being convicted by Stephen's indictment of him and his fellow religious leaders. Of course, it took Jesus' revelation of himself to Paul to seal the deal, and with it, an answer to Stephen's prayer. I like to imagine that Paul himself was Luke's source material for this account. I would like to imagine Paul and Luke, sitting around a fire and Paul relating his conversion story and the profound influence Stephen's testimony must have been. What a great gospel message and a warning to each of us.

Acts: 7:55 Stephen sees Jesus in the right hand of God. Acts: 7:56 Stephen sees the son of man in the right hand of God. A confirm that Jesus was a son of man. Not a son of God. İslam is the only truth faith❤️

Son of man is how He came to earth being born of a hu(man) wo(man). Your religion was made up 6,000 years later. The good news is, Jesus, Son of God, second person of the Godhead died for all of our sins. Not just the Jews, but you and I as well. As someone quoted you before in John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. I pray you open your eyes and see the truth and accept the promise given to all those who believe in Him. He is the Only way! If you look further into the book of John, you’ll see what Jesus said about coming to The Father in chapter 14 vs 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
