True that we have more of the written word of God, but David had more personal experience than most of today's believers. How many are today's believers who tend to flock of lambs in the wilderness depending only on the Lord's protection? How many of today's believers fight a giant goliath? David wrote that Psalm after going through amazing experiences of a personal relationship with God. "blessed are those who have not seen & yet have believed." Personal relationship beats scriptures, Moses didn't have scripture, he had a personal relationship with God. Bothers and sisters, scriptures, written words of God are amazingly wonderful, but you need to read it first, and live by it, eat it, drink it. Thank you for the enduring word.

In January this year I was blown away by how John's overarching Chapter One-the Logos-declares Christ Jesus as the One, the Word, through whom all things were made! Now discovered how Psalm 19 echoes the same BIG picture! CS Lewis was right! Am utterly blown away and lost for words reflecting on the vastness and depth of it all. Am writing this on 19 Oct 2023!
Thank you so much, Pastor David! We go through the psalms (not chronologically:we started from 27, 25 & 23) & meditate on them. They cause us to repent & transform our lives. We joy in God’s Word. Our teenage son loves the psalms. He loves your eye-opening devotions. Though he has intellectual disability (mentally aged 9 for good) he’s started memorising the psalms 1 by 1. Psalm 19 is his 5th psalm to commit to heart. TQ for blessing us! God is so good!! 🙏😊

(Psalm 19:13 Keep back Your servant also from PRESUMPTUOUS SINS; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.) Love how he explains presumptuous sin as a sin that you know is wrong but you do it anyways.

Biblical Hebrew a small vocabulary than English. In biblical Hebrew, there is no word for universe. Instead, the Hebrew phrase that is translated “the heavens and the earth” is used to refer to the universe-the entirety of physical reality. The phrase is used thirteen times in the Old Testament, always referring to all matter, energy, space, and time the universe. We now know that event was 13.787 ±0.020 billion years. This has been checked, proven and measured with many tools and they all agree. It is not just space that came to be 13.787 billion years ago, but time also. The universe is finite and expanding. Just as the Bible stated thousands of years ago.
