We are being saved? What Bible are you reading My Bible reads we are saved!

I read the New King James Version. As to your comment, the Bible teaches that we are saved and are being saved. These passages were written to Christians. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 2 Corinthians 2:15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. The Greek word for saved is "sozo". It speaks of justification, but also of healing, wholeness, completeness. So, according to that word, we are both justified, but also being saved, or being made whole and complete. It is akin to the idea of sanctification. I hope this helps. Blessings.

Thank you for your wishes But I’m going to believe the King James Bible the passage 1 Corinthians 1:18 also reads “we are saved” The Bible is self explanatory The general teaching is the moment we believe in the massage of the cross we “where” saved that is the assurance God gives

I think it’s also possible that those who are being called by the Lord, “those who are being saved” yet possibly not saved yet, the Gospel begins to make sense through the leading of the Holy Spirit. Some are saved already as having accepted the Gospel, but to the unsaved who are hearing the Gospel, it begins to make sense. These are those who being saved

Every other translation that I can find says “being saved” as a more appropriate and accurate translation of the original Greek text.

@@jeremytjensvold9936 please see my response to Pastor David Guzik. That is incorrect. Not only is it not more accurate, the explanation given for the change is wrong. There is no continuous such as not yet saved or still being saved. Are saved is correct and this change is very misleading without the proper explanation.
