Nasi Kandar is George Town's most delicious and famed dish, at least that's what I hear from the locals! And that's exactly why I set out to travel to the food capital of Malaysia.
Join me as I travel by bus and a ferry to get to George Town, before devouring the best Nasi Kandar I have ever had, whilst meeting the coolest gangster chef in Malaysia.

Quite interesting video 👍 The white buildings in Ipoh and Georgetown are ex British colonies.. they're under UNESCO world heritage.. The view from ferry absolutely beautiful.. The Nasi Kandar you ate was Nasi Briyani..Nasi Kandar is actually white colour..the one you ate probably was a fusion..😁

Don't miss out on what most vloggers miss, you need to try the Peranakan/Nyonya cuisines when you're in Penang. They're slightly different from the ones in Melaka. Go experience it, I'm sure you'll enjoy this cultural food of Penang.😊

Nasi kandar is usually served with a combination of different curry sauces so if you can't handle too spicy just tell them not spicy so that the staff will scoop sauces that are not too spicy. Try the Hameediyah nasi kandar which is more popular. Penang Char Kueh Tiaw with duck egg is a must. Their asam laksa is also popular.

Yeah either hameediyah or deen maju though hameediyah is the oldest nasi kandar in the world

The adventure continues. Enjoy your time in Penang. The spice garden and tripical fruit farm were highlights for me. If you like cats, you may want to visit the cat sanctuary. Enjoyed the vlog. Safe travels.

You are amazing! As a Malaysian, I’ve never took the opportunity to explore my beautiful country Try Penang Road Teochew Chendul available in KL malls too. Try Assam Laksa voted one of the best in the World. My favourite? Ah Cheng Laksa from Kedah. Available in KL. Must try Char KuehTeow. Look for the Michelin Char Keuh Teow. Enjoy! Brother

just a piece of advice bro, instead of saying assalamualaikum, just say plain "hello", or "good day" or whatever. some muslims may find it offensive if non-muslims say "assalamualaikum" especially in hardcore muslim countries. in malaysia you may get away with it. trust me bro i'm muslim myself and i know how these people think. i just don't want bad thing to happen to you. peace. some muslims in the comments please tell me if this is true or is it just me. i'm not saying muslims are bad people, it's because majority are good, nothing happen to you so far, but there are extreme groups out there. just be careful
