I first watched her vlog before watching her Wish performance so I knew na namamaos sya nun and wala sa condition boses nya. She has to move herself away from the mic (attached to the table) to avoid breaking that hugely loud sound from the belt note. Unlike when she did it live in her channel, she's holding the mic itself so she can strategically manage the sound. That's how professional she is like a sound engineer, but this time she's both, artist and professionally sound cautious. But you're right on that one note at the end, she did give it all and she's sorta tired due to her being sick but dang, she still hit the right note!

A lot of singers will turn their head sideways slightly if the mic’s on a stand, or have the mic set slightly below the mouth angled facing upward to allow them to sing over it, or tilt the mic in the hand to sing across the top of the capsule for a handheld mic for the loud passages - getting right up on the mic for the quieter sections - it’s not just about level, it’s also about the tone of the voice as this changes according to proximity and direction/position relative to the mouth. Moving the mic out to arms length is pretty extreme and not really necessary for a well set up input gain structure - the main thing is to not have the input stage clip and use judicious compression on the vocal bus without squashing the vocals. She’s not struggling per se. k. It’s sort of how when you want to whisper to someone you put your mouth right up to the listeners ear - you don’t do that if you’re going to shout at them.😊
