@David Manning hey David I paused at 4:50, and I feel your anxiety. I'm nervous just watching this. I like that you have a secondary lanyard as a back up, but do you know what else you could do? Is mount your gopro on the A7siii, looking down at the suction cups, then using the gopro app on your phone to monitor the suction cup indicators... Gopro doubling up as a safety cam 😊
@checkeredflagfilms Жыл бұрын
Couple of thoughts...think 'time-lapse' with those beautiful clouds. Always bring a polarizer regardless...options! You most definitely need to 'light' up the subject inside the car....more suction cups! Sometimes those clouds/tree shadows are lovely to remain in the shot. All depends on your visual/storytelling aesthetic.

Solid points! I’m actually playing with a whole new filter system after finishing this video. Hopefully I’ll be more prepared next time. And shoot at a better time of day. Mid-day sun is brutal!

Hi Dave, watched your videos on suction cups. I often film drag racing and other high-speed car videos for my channel. Comparing the Falcam Quick Release F22 v.s. The Seasucker 4.5"., Which would you recommend to mount a Go Pro or Insta One RS 4k? Like your channel. Your newest subscriber

We've all been there - rushing things for various reasons and ending up making a mess of things. I've done it loads. Too impatient. I have to tell myself to calm down. I took my Sony on a fast car last year at slow speed as I was convinced the suction was going to fail.
@DavidManningvlog Жыл бұрын
Absolutely the case! Once the clouds started burning off, I tried to hurry up to get some shots. Should have just postponed it until sunset. Awesome to get the rigging experience though. This setup is super legit!

Hello David, really enjoyed the video, I'm really glad you told us about the fails and not just re-do the video after learning from the mistakes. This honesty and type of video is very relatable and I really enjoyed it. Keep up the hard work and looking forward to the next video. Also, I was looking for the affiliate link for the Aura frame and couldn't find it? I really like the idea and want to get one for my partner so she can see all the daft pictures of us also drinking lots of espresso and pornstar martinis!

I just made a video about failing and how it helps u learn so much. I feel like the older we get, the more we ignore doing things were not confident about, which in turn means less failing but less learning too
