The Link 1.0 is made of stainless steel, I have this putter & it is amazing, I never got fitted, but I use 34” & the 69° lie is right for me. Unfortunately in the UK I’ve not seen any of these in pro shops yet, so I can’t try any out, but I am seriously thinking of getting properly fitted & trying different models as soon as they become more available. Having said that I’ve never hit a putter out the middle & on my chosen line before I got the Link 1.0, so the LAB putter’s most definitely work much better than anything else I’ve ever tried.
@davidmaxfieldgolf19 күн бұрын
100% agree, the link1 is amazing and I love mine also. The OZ1i is definitely worth a try though. The online fitting would be interesting for you to do 😁
@CD17able19 күн бұрын
Yes I can tell my putter is pretty much spot on for my build & putting style, I think I’ll wait to try them before I order a custom fit, so many different feels from the different types of putter, face insert & material, which can’t be experienced from online fitting.
@davidmaxfieldgolf19 күн бұрын
@ that is true, there’s also a number of individual LAB fitters who are golf pros in the UK, you should try find one of them. The stores may not have the putters but the fitting pros will

What do you think about the weight of the oz? I currently have the link and the df3, but the df3 doesn’t work for me with distance control like the link does. I was thinking about trying the OZ with the lightweight option
@davidmaxfieldgolf16 күн бұрын
If you like the weight of the link then get the standard OZ1, it's actually a touch lighter than the link.

@anthonycarson711315 күн бұрын
Noticed your Link1 is a little toe high at address. You might need to go one degree more flat and your roll should be more consistent.
@davidmaxfieldgolf15 күн бұрын
I think you could be right, could also be a me problem as my setup doesn’t seem to be as consistent with the blade as with a mallet. Weird but just one of those things I guess. One putt will be perfect and the next one I’ll have the toe up a little

David, Anthony is correct. You are toe high on both putters. Don’t know if your OZ has shaft lean or not but toe high with shaft lean you will miss left most of the time. The Link.1 has no forward press & the OZ is available with no shaft lean as well. I would try a 71°-73° and I bet your results will be dramatically improved!
